Help us succeed by doing your part as a member of our Quality Assurance team as an Assembly Inspector.
An Assembly Inspector ensures compliance to customer requirements of all product in our assebmly function at Radius Aerospace – Hot Springs via mechanical means, review of test reports or certifications, or by monitoring of any acceptable Statistical methods used to assure conformance to requirements and process capability.
Major duties of a n Assembly Inspector include:
Measures parts and materials for conformance to specifications, using micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments
Reads and interprets aerospace manufacturing drawings / models – including tolerances, customer specification and technical requirements
Inspects purchased parts for conformance to purchase order, drawing / model and specification requirement
Performs visual, dimensional, mechanical, and optical inspections per work instructions
Works from engineering drawings, internal and external specifications, quality assurance standards, test procedures and verbal instructions to determine acceptance of product
Documents product acceptance / rejection on manufacturing order, processes any necessary rejection documentation and performs various ERP system functions
High School Diploma or equivalent.

This is a Final Inspection / Workholding Assembly position that requires compliance with work instructions and established departmental procedures. The Assembly/Inspector is required to interact with other departments such as Runoff and participate in Tooling Design Reviews and Continuous Improvement activities.
Perform inspection of parts, assemblies, products and/or materials for quality, defects, appearance, finishes, variance, and operation from specification or by visual comparison methods.
Apply basic and some advanced skills in procedures, techniques, tools, materials, and/or equipment appropriate to inspection work.
Use fixed or variable measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, height gages & dial indicators.
Assemble components of work-holding assemblies.
Identify and resolve issues regarding fit and function of assemblies.
Proper and safe use of hand trucks and overhead crane systems and straps for lifting and moving heavy objects.

Functions as the Facilities Steam Boiler Plant Stationary Engineer. Performs a variety of duties relating to providing and maintaining the hospital's heat, light and power as well as vacuum, air pressure, water, air conditioning etc.Maintains and controls operation of all boiler plant equipment for proper generation of steam for heating, cooking, and sterilization and maintenance of hot water temperatures.
Monitors, controls and operates boilers, auxiliary generators, air conditioning and ventilating equipment, vacuum and compressed air systems, electric power and miscellaneous equipment.
