This is a full time position (Monday through Friday) with opportunity for overtime at a competitive wage. Lead Flooring Installer
The Flooring Installer is responsible for carpet and tile installations, cove base, punchlists, and assembling labor to take up existing flooring on assigned installations. This position required to work overtime nights, weekends and holidays as needed. This is a full-time position with benefits.
*This is direct hire position , no subcontractors, please.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Carpet, VCT tile, cove base installations
Take up and disposal of existing flooring
Proper processing of paperwork and workflow. This includes timesheets and expense reports.
Review, sign and turn in carpet service technician's timesheet
Make sure the service areas are kept clean, safe and well organized. Make sure service vehicles are kept clean and properly maintained.
Insure that parts taken from the warehouse are billed to the customer, warranty, or another department
Review service orders for complete information
Perform service calls and establish customer relations
Other duties as assigned by the Flooring Operations Manager
Education and/or Experience:
Commercial experience in the flooring industry prefer, however will consider applicants with comparable experience and mechanical skills.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Heavy lifting (100 pounds), moving, unloading, etc... as required of an installer.

Construction Sheet Metal Installer
The Sheet Metal Installer will plan, layout, perform fabricating and assembly operations on sheet metal products with minimum supervision. They will set up and operate metal fabricating machines; assign work, instruct and train lower classification workers. They will assist in working with other members of the tender teams to secure sufficient work by value and type, to meet LBA's objectives.
Promote active participation in alignment with safety guidelines and LBA's culture.
Prepare work orders and prints, developing sketches and using shop calculations if necessary.
Selects materials according to strength, durability, and suitability for the particular job. Fabricates and lays out work in advance of installation.
Prepare the use of machine and hand tools to cut and form pieces to required dimensions. Solders, rolls, or rivets seams. Reinforces parts if necessary.
Performs metal maintenance work and fabrication of equipment such as ducts, machine guards, oil pans, chutes, exhaust hoods, conveyors, rain gutters, and the like.
Set up and operate sheet metal fabricating machines, e.g. shears, brakes, roll formers, nibbling shear, beader, flanger, crimper, punches, drills, etc., to cut, trim, form, shape and otherwise prepare parts and sections for assembly.
