The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the technology of a diffusion bonding process, including the plating line, material preparation, laser cutting, and parameter control. The position will also be responsible for documentation of standard processes, personnel instructions, fixture design, and operator training on the use of the equipment. Critical features of this job include working with Design Engineering on new product development, design of parameters and geometry on new product. Running the actual equipment, if required particularly during process development, will be necessary.

Manager Of Apparel Product Development, Global Merchandise
The Manager of Apparel Product Development, Global Merchandise will work closely with our GM of Global Merchandise and E-Commerce to sets and oversee the strategy for Apparel Global Sourcing & Product Development through all stages of the product development life cycle - from development to deliveries of merchandise.
Manage time and action calendars for the team and reviews workflow to ensure timelines are met.
Develop a sourcing strategy in providing fabric and factory sourcing based on industry expertise.
Review vendor cost structures, speed to market and capabilities to recommend and execute the new season's strategy.
Set reporting and working standards to ensure that efficiencies are being met and information is circulated and shared.
Facilitate analysis of ongoing operations and identify opportunities for improvement to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Recommend best-in-class sourcing strategies and innovative programs that optimizes our processes by leveraging efficiencies in raw materials, prebuying of fabric to allow chase strategies and other assets; maintains advantageous relationships with key vendors and maximizes speed to market.

Manage end-to-end delivery of product from sketch to complete product with trims, hangtags, etc. in warehouse.
Minimum 7+ years expertise in both sourcing and product development for large scale apparel companies. Both luxury and contemporary background appreciated.
Strong vendor network of higher taste level vendors and factories. Both men's and women's a plus.
Proven track record of being able to both work with design on product development, and factory on executing on-time, on-margin product.
Strong project management skills in being able to manage cross functional teams on timing and action to ensure product development deadlines are consistently met.
Creative, technically capable, extensive knowledge of garment manufacturing, including construction, fabrication, trim and print techniques; strong connections with garment manufacturers and agents in Asia and Italy.
