Providing instruction in watercolor and other painting techniques. Maintain equipment, studio space and keep supplies stocked and organized.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Create transformational experiences for each guest.
Discuss student goals and assess level of proficiency.
Instruction in painting techniques both beginning and more advanced.
Share the Sundance story of land preservation and environmental commitment as the occasion arises.
Provide recommendations to students for further development.
Indoor still life or outdoor landscape techniques may be explored.
Maintenance of studio space and tools.
Support the recycling program.

Bare midriffs are prohibited.
Proper footwear for your department is required.
Dress sandals are permitted for females.
Flip flops are prohibited in all areas.
Tennis shoes are prohibited unless there is a business need (ie: Mtn. Ops.)
Fashion sneakers are allowed within department approved parameters.
If your department allows t-shirts, they must be in good condition and have appropriate Sundance logos.
If your department allows baseball caps, they must be in good condition and have appropriate Sundance logos.
If your department allows beanies, they must be in good condition and Sundance branded.
Employees working in retail outlets may wear t-shirts and caps that are sold in their area if no uniform is provided.

AREA 1: All permanent Alabama Army National Guard civilian excepted technicians currently employed.

(1) Prepares surfaces (i.e., metal, wood and glass) by removing rust, paint, and loose particles. Sands and evens out dents and scars to assure a smooth and level surface using sanders, scrapers, sandpaper, wire brushes, and paint remover.
Applies coatings to specified areas ensuring that that surfaces are free from skips, runs, and drips. Applies rustproof compound to areas such as splash panels, quarter panels, seams structural members, and underbody construction. Applies coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray paint equipment.
(2) Prepares coating materials by tinting, toning, etching, blending, and mixing in various additives (i.e., retardants, hardeners, drying agents, and other additives). Applies prime, intermediate and final coats of semi-gloss, gloss and other paint, lacquer, enamel, varnish and shellac. Ensures that match, texture and appearance meet finish requirements. Replaces and applies markings/lettering as specified by appropriate manuals
(3) Reads and interprets directions that relate to mixture, use, and application of various kinds of coating materials, solvents, and precoating agents.
(4) Applies Chemical Agent Reactive Coating (CARC) materials in accordance with specifications and dimensions. Cleans and maintains painting equipment.

Painting And Drywall Specialist
The Management Group (TMG) is seeking a full-time Painting Technician to work 80% on inside painting projects and 20% on outside projects for our Vancouver properties. As the Painting Technician working in our Maintenance Services Department, you will follow painting and drywall work orders traveling from one site to another in a company truck. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Teach Adult Basic math and pre-college level math.
Maintain communication with the Transitional Studies Department on a regular basis, maintain student records, and complete all needed paperwork for a program funded by SBCTC.
Bachelor's degree and two years' experience working with adults students in a community college setting or an equivalent mix of education and experience that demonstrates the candidate meets the competency requirements for this position
Experience fostering a climate of multicultural understanding and appreciation
Master's degree in adult education, math education or other related area.
Minimum of three years of experience teaching Adult Basic Education and High School Equivalency Preparation classes including High School 21+, Open Doors and GED® preparation in a community college or community-based setting.
Training and experience with administering CASAS appraisal, pre tests and post tests.
Experience in working collaboratively with and reporting to private, state, and federal agencies.
Experience working with people of diverse racial, ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds, as well as those with disabilities.

Newly-hired adjunct faculty are eligible for PEBB insurance benefits when they have taught 50 percent or more of a full-time workload* for two consecutive quarters at one or more public higher education institutions, going on benefits the start of the second quarter at 50% or more. Medical, dental, life and long term disability insurance benefits are provided as currently administered under the Public Employees Benefits Board.
Adjunct faculty who initially meet the State Board Retirement Plan Eligibility criteria after June 30, 2011 are given the option to participate in the State Board Plan (TIAA-CREF) or to participate in TRS 3, and have 30 days to make a choice. The eligibility threshold for participation in the State Board Retirement Plan (TIAA-CREF) is 50 percent of a full-time workload* at one or more college districts or the State Board for two consecutive quarters. There may be other options available under limited circumstances.
Leave accruals and usage are governed by the faculty master contract.
- Half time is defined as one-half of the full-time academic workload as determined by each institution, except that half time for community and technical colleges faculty employees is governed by RCW 28B.50.489.
