Our Apprenticeship Program is a structured 18-24 month training program designed to provide new field employees with sufficient training and on-the-job work experience to prepare the employee to properly and safely complete their job duties. The program consists of gas distribution, field service, and gas operations while focusing on safety including: excavation, fire extinguishers, hazard communication, respiratory protection, personal protective equipment training, and safe vehicle operation.

The General Maintenance Worker Apprentice will fix and maintain machines, mechanical equipment, and buildings. This individual will paint, repair flooring, and work on plumbing, electrical, and air-conditioning and heating systems. In the event of an emergency he/she may be called to support necessary tasks in association with that emergency. The Tapered Insulation Designer/Estimator duties will include the generation of tapered designs, piece counts, & price quotes for Tapered Polyisocyanurate Insulation projects from various media sources. Daily communication and correspondence will be with Carlisle SynTec, Versico, Hunter Panels sales representatives, roofing distributors, roofing contractors and Hunter Panels OEM customers. The individual will advise and assist architects to help secure the specification of Polyisocyanurate Insulation products while working with roofing contractors to consult on Tapered designs, troubleshoot onsite issues and provide general customer support.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Interpret, Design, Estimate and communicate daily quotations on projects with Tapered Roof Insulation in the specification
Work daily with Architects, General contractors, Roofing contractors on design and budgetary constraints
Communicate with contractors on revisions to projects to close the sale.
Generate working shop drawings for submittals
Provide onsite customer support, job startups, installation expertise and field verification where needed
Minimum Job Requirements:
An Associate's or Technical Degree in Drafting, Construction Design, Construction Technology, Mechanical Drafting or a similar degree is required.
1-2 years of experience is required in a related field.
Strong AutoCAD knowledge in addition to Microsoft Office Suite is also required.
