ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Maintenance & Repair
Installs and replaces lawn sprinkler systems according to blueprints, shop sketches, or verbal instructions.
Installs, maintains, and repairs automatic, semi-automatic, and manually actuated sprinkler systems.
Cleans, repairs, and flushes out lawn sprinkler heads and systems.
Adjusts elevation of lawn sprinkler heads, and locates remote valves, piping, and control valves.
Digs ditches and trenches preparatory to installation, maintenance, and repair work.
Replaces soil and turf after installation, maintenance, and repair work is completed.
Installs and repairs PVC.
Locates leaks in sprinkler systems through physical observation and blueprints.
Determines corrective action to repair or replace sprinkler systems and type of materials needed.
Receives and completes work orders. Selects material and hardware and makes time and materials estimates. Maintains accurate records on material and labor used.
Inspects jobs upon completion and ensures areas are clean.
Assists the plumbers during inclement weather or emergency conditions.
Maintains inventory of district-owned tools, equipment, and materials. Performs preventive maintenance on tools and equipment and ensures that equipment is in safe operating condition.
Follows established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties including lifting and climbing. Operates tools and equipment according to established safety procedures.
Corrects unsafe conditions in work area and promptly reports any conditions that are not immediately correctable to supervisor.

Minimum Required Qualifications
Education: Accredited High School diploma, GED, or Texas Certificate of High School Equivalency.
Certifications: Texas Irrigation Technician License; Clear and Valid Texas Driver's License.
Experience: 5 years' in irrigation.

Information System Security Officer (Government)
Provides support for a program, organization, system, or enclave's information assurance program.
Provides support for proposing, coordinating, implementing, and enforcing information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies.
Maintains operational security posture for an information system or program to ensure information systems security policies, standards, and procedures are established and followed.
Assists with the management of security aspects of the information system and performs day-to-day security operations of the system.

Provides oversight of the quality, patent safety, quality data, and accreditation activities across Allina Health.
Assists with the development of the vision and strategic plan for Quality & Safety across the Enterprise.
Responsibilities include budget management, allocation of appropriate resources and staffing, action plans, issue resolution, development of safety goals and objectives, program development, education and mentorship of staff.
Consults with senior leaders and frontline staff regarding error prevention strategies, advises on policies to encourage a Culture of Safety and design programs to deploy best practices about increased error reporting and error reduction across the organization.
Accountable to develop programmatic planning and project coordination to achieve the strategic goals of Allina Health pertaining to quality and patient safety, Quality Data and Health Equity.
Bachelor's Degree in nursing, public health, pharmacy, health administration, engineering or other health related field is required.
Master's degree in related field preferred.
