Functions/Duties of Position
The Epic Support Desk (ESD) provides first level support for all Epic related applications. Support requests are received and managed through multiple channels. The ESD also provides periodic site visits in order to gain an appreciation and understanding of customer workflows, as well as to provide upgrade and go-live user support.
The incumbent answers support calls from multiple service lines using a multi-line phone. Customers include, OHSU Epic users, MyChart patients, OHSU Connect users, and OHSU partner users and patients. The incumbent must demonstrate an aptitude for researching answers to questions in order to provide current and relevant assistance to the end user. In order to provide excellent customer service, the incumbent is required to stay current with Epic workflows and best practices and must maintain a thorough understanding of incident logging and support tools that are utilized by the ESD. The incumbent is responsible for using excellent judgment to determine when and to whom to escalate an issue.
Associates degree and 2 years Computer Science experience; OR
Bachelors degree in Computer Science field ; OR
An equivalent combination of training and/or experience.
Experience providing user support/assistance on-site or over the phone; either formally in an IT department, OR as the primary or super user within a healthcare setting.
Functional knowledge of Epic or other EMR.

Some of what you will be doing:
Conducts sophisticated economic evaluations of utility company filings regarding: conservation goals that conform with Washington statutes; the attainment of previously determined conservation targets; the prudence of investments in generation and distribution facilities; the portfolio of energy resources to meet future service needs; complex pricing proposals designed to promote conservation; the introduction of new services; and plans to support low income customers.
Uses economic analysis to create recommendations to senior management and commissioners. Independently develop written testimony that is filed in highly contentious legal proceedings where the incumbent is required to provide expert testimony and be cross-examined by counsel for those parties who oppose the incumbent's recommendations.
Manages stakeholder involvement in developing policies that address emerging issues such as alternative resources and distributed generation, the enhancement of infrastructure reliability and to analyze other policies that promote the public interests of Washington citizens. Participates in utility or regional advisory groups and attends training pertaining to conservation and energy planning, where travel may be required.
Required experience/education – Regulatory Analyst 3:
Bachelor's Degree involving major study in business administration, accounting, finance, economics, or relevant field, such as operations analysis, econometrics, mathematics, statistics, engineering, environmental planning, or similar quantitative field. In rare situations, an individual without the requisite degree may qualify by demonstrating knowledge and abilities equivalent to the degree that have been attained through a combination of work experience and education.
Four years of experience performing professional-level research and analysis or policy development. Preference will be given to those individuals with direct experience in performing the analysis for regulated energy companies. An advanced degree may substitute for one year of the required experience.
Completion of the Regulatory Analyst 1 level part of the in-training program will substitute for two years of the required experience.

Design experiments and formulate machine learning problems to address major business challenges and innovation opportunities
Work with managers to discover, collect, cleanse, and refine the data needed for analysis
Analyze large datasets to identify gaps and inconsistencies to develop controls and mitigate risk

Under administrative direction, serve as consultant to agency leadership on operations and performance in area of Integrated Revenue Management System (IRMS) business and system integration.
FACILITATION AND ANALYSIS
As the IRMS business lead, facilitate workgroup sessions with business SMEs to gather and define business process and system process requirements.

Acquire technical and business leadership approvals at various project stages.
Monitor project schedules - identifying and addressing project issues; escalating to management/administrative roles when necessary.
Manage project communications to include the sharing of team meeting minutes, project status reports, and issue/risk logs as needed.
Ensure key project documents remain up-to-date throughout the project life cycle.
Provide input on and implement detailed Go Live Plans.
Participate in design and deployment change management practices.
Communicate complex analysis and insights to stakeholders and business leaders, both verbally and in writing.
TESTING, DEPLOYMENT AND OPERATIONS
Formulate data driven hypotheses to test/pilot initiatives within different functional business areas.
Help define tools that make repeatable work faster and more efficient.
Report on common sources of technical issues or questions and make recommendations to implementation team.
Use tactical experience to execute processes with current tools. Provide support for new processes and resolves issues with processes as identified by users.
Provide input, as needed, for infrastructure impact statements, feasibility studies, charters, resource assignment RACIs, risk management plans, communications plans, and change management plans.
Define test and deploy schedules in units of trackable work that are understandable to business sponsors and as well as technical team members.
Using knowledge gained during requirements elicitation and analysis, create test plans and test scripts.
Use those test plans and scripts to execute and manage system testing.
Assist in identifying and securing resources to engage in testing activities.
Monitor and report on testing phases, regression and upcoming testing to project team, project manager and sponsor.
Identify and correct bottlenecks in testing progress to meet testing deadlines.
Participate in the development of hypercare and go-live support plan.Ensure work/product quality via incremental unit/system/integration testing.Manage transition of project products from project teams to support teams.Discern and process lessons learned in ways that improve future work.In collaboration with Fiscal Management Team and the Information Technology PMO, FAAS, and leadership, develop a model for on-going system support for not only the IRMS, but also other financial systems that are SaaS. A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in business administration, accounting, public administration, law or closely related discipline.
Three years of experience conducting research, analyzing and implementing policies, laws, rules, or regulations. The purpose of this task is to support the SYSMAN team, which provides enterprise services in a cutting edge Cyber environment.
The Information Technology Security Analyst:
- Identify vulnerabilities and IAVA compliance within the Army networked assets for those systems managed by the USARCC-C.
- Provide and administer read-only accounts on the ACAS Security Center to the 21st, 93rd, and 106th Signal Brigades, 7th Signal Command (T), and the CONUS NEC's for reporting purposes.
- Ensure the UC equipment and applications are STIG compliant.
- Perform vulnerability scans monthly on all USARCC-C-managed devices.
- Coordinate scan results with USARCC-C system owners for corrective action.
- Properly apply patches to the devices.
- Record all scans and actions taken, including Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&M) and mitigation plans, in the Vulnerability Management System (VMS) or other USARCC-C approved tracking system.
