Responsibilities The incumbent is responsible for the entire warehouse operation for UNICOR including receipt
, handling, storage, issue, accountability, distribution and shipment of materials, supplies, and equipment. In conjunction with production requirements determines sequences for loading materials and organizes incoming shipments for maximum space utilization, safety considerations, and damage protection.
Prepares and maintains adequate shipping and receiving documents and inventory documentation, using both manual procedures and automated data processing systems, so as to maintain a system of perpetual inventory accountability for all items that pass through or remain under incumbent's control and supervisor. The incumbent is the cost center manager for warehouse budget that includes the oversight of purchasing items within the budget. Along with all other correctional institution employees, incumbent is charged with responsibility for maintaining security of the institution. The staff correctional responsibilities precede all others required by this position and are performed on a regular and recurring basis.

Assists in unloading and accurate receipt of all shipments. Ensure all incoming merchandise has been received in good condition and keyed accurately into the appropriate system.
