Gas Bearing Specialist
As the pioneer and world leader of the oil-free centrifugal compressor product category, the enterprise is dedicated to the design, manufacture, marketing and support of the world's most efficient commercial refrigerant compressors. The result is the world's first totally oil-free compressor specifically designed for the HVAC industry.
As the Gas Bearing Engineer, the primary work tasks relate to new product development. The nature of the work will be heavily R&D initially. You will be responsible for the development of gas bearing (especially foil bearing) technologies for the new platforms of oil-free compressors to expand the product portfolio, from definition of the customer/product requirements to concept validation and product implementation. The gas bearing technologies are applied in turbo compressors, while various refrigerant gas is used as the lubrication fluid.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify the right gas bearing technologies for the targeted applications.
Define requirements for internal as well as external tasks relating to the gas bearing technology development and implementation.
Define specifications for design, simulation and testing tools/equipment required to assess the identified gas bearing technologies; ensure the procurement or development of these tools/equipment.
Validate the identified gas bearing technologies and designs by modeling, simulations and experiment.
Responsible to qualify the identified gas bearing technologies by implementing appropriate testing equipment and testing methodologies.
Define and conduct experiments in both characterizing the dynamic properties of the bearings / rotordynamics, as well as reliability.
Work with cross functional team to ensure proper integration of the gas bearings with the rest of system.
Collaborate with cross functional teams within product development, manufacturing engineering and procurement groups to ensure manufacturability, assembly feasibility, serviceability, and reliability.
Participate in other new technology research and development projects
Deliver design documentation following Turbocor technology and product development processes.
Support certification to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, UL and CE and ensure environmental and safety guidelines are applied accordingly.
Moderate business travels (including international) is expected in collaboration with supplies and institutions.

We are currently seeking a Winch Truck Driver to join our team. Under the supervision of the Tuck Supervisor the Winch Truck Operator drives and operates a winch truck equipped with a single winch, to load and move frac tanks; or with the use of a float pick up, transport and unload oil field servicing or drilling equipment including but not limited to open top tanks, reverse units, to and from various locations within the work area. This equipment is loaded and unloaded onto the truck or float with the use of the trucks mechanical winch. The Winch Truck Operator must complete all paperwork including vehicle inspection reports (per DOT regulations), and drivers daily logs (per DOT regulations). Must have immediate knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier DOT regulations.

Excellent communicator, both in writing and in person. (You get "you're so good with words" a lot.)
Superior design sensibilities. (You're fanatical about fonts and live for killer layouts. You care about the aesthetic of every Word doc, PowerPoint presentation, and web graphic alike.)
Problem-solving mindset. (You don't bring anyone problems; just solutions. You always think through "What would I do if I were in charge?" and have a course of action in mind before taking the challenge back to the team.)
Project management skills. (You enjoy being creative, but never at the expense of delivering on time and above expectations. To you, a Gantt chart is a work of art all its own. You're solid at prioritizing.)
Extraordinary passion for seeing great ideas all the way to completion, all in the name of making a difference. (Our mission is clear, but our road isn't. If you're looking to show up and be told what to do every day, this is not the job for you.)
Track record of adapting to ambiguity and thriving in a fast-moving environment. (When the going gets tough, you go with the flow, and you have a great sense of humor all the while.)
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Photoshop and Illustrator). Ability to create basic animated graphics a huge plus.
Photography and DSLR video shooting and/or editing a plus
Portfolio (if applicable)
