MEAT CUTTER - APPRENTICE
Apprentice Meat Cutters are responsible for learning the duties of a Meat Cutter. Additional responsibilities include but not limited to:
Cutting meat by following Company guidelines
Receiving and rotating all meat products
Wrapping fresh and processed meats
Maintaining sanitation standards
Learning the inventory process
Must adhere to Company safety and sanitation standards
Must be able to learn to identify and cut all beef, pork and veal primal to Company standards
Prior meat wrapping experience preferred

Grand Canyon University is seeking a full-time Screen Printer Operator. The primary responsibility of this position is to perform the duties involved in screen printing. These duties include preparing screen printing stencils, mixing and loading ink, cleaning machine, troubleshooting technological problems and maintaining screen printing equipment. Also responsible for record keeping of work completed and job history.
Check production equipment to ensure proper machine set up, registration, ink viscosity and color.
Run, adjust and troubleshoot production equipment and machinery.
Adjust machinery for optimum speed, registry and print quality.
Repair, maintain and store production tooling and fixtures.
Ensures that work is performed in a consistent manner that results in defect free products.
Prepares product for transfer to next step in production process.
Follows safety rules, policies and procedures as required.
Observes silk screen and work piece to detect printing defects.
Bolts framed silk screen onto machine and installs and adjusts work piece holding fixture, stops and guides.
Cleans silk screen to prepare for next production usage.
Verify the proper quantity has been printed before cleaning and breaking down for the next job.
Embark on the multi-step process of screen making which includes screen stretching, screen selection, degreasing, film emulsion coating, exposure and wash out as well as cleaning and reclaiming after printing.
Performs other related duties as required.

The Printer Operator is responsible for operating printing equipment to print webbing at the highest level of quality and efficiency in a safe manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Obtain instructions for orders that require printing from Open Order Status Report that has been updated by the Production Planner.
Install proper print band and ink as required by the customer.
Record information accurately on Hose Group Printer Quality Check Form (H8.2.4-4003) and Hose Group Printer Width Checks Form (H8.2.4-4004).
Ensure that print band is properly aligned on the web to be printed.
Inspect web for smearing of ink on webbing.
Adjust machine as necessary to maintain proper print.
Following all safety precautions, clean machine at the end of each shift and whenever ink color is changed.
If any nonconformity is found, notify the Team Leader, Supervisor or Manager.
Return completed Printer Quality Check Forms and Printer Width Checks Forms to the ISO Administrator.
Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work environment. Use proper safety equipment and follow safety procedures (i.e., lockout/tagout).
Understand and follow quality policy and work instructions.

Seasonal Screen Printer
Primary responsibility includes setting up and operating a Manual garment and Cap screen printing
equipment independently, according to written and/or verbal instructions. This is a summer/seasonal position. Responsible for assuring equipment being used, is properly shut down at the end of
each shift. Job will require participation and compliance to all policies and procedures related to ISO
(quality) and safety.
Obtains order, screen, ink, squeegee, and related supplies needed to produce the job.
Sets up press according to established manufacturer and company guidelines, safety, and job requirements. Keeps work areas, ink containers, and tools clean and orderly. Prints proof on second (damaged garment), to check press setup, registration, ink viscosity (thickness) and color.
May be required to receive approval before beginning print cycle.
Prints job, maintaining optimum production speed and makes press adjustments to maintain print quality, registration, and color.
Cards off all excess ink from the screen and squeegee and returns usable ink to original container.
Cleans ink container thoroughly.
Removes block-out tape and any other tape applied to block off sections of the screen.
Orders that required the use of catalyst must be cleaned immediately.
Carefully removes screen and places it on the rack, designated for reclaiming.
Completes clean-up and prepares station for the next order.
