ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Operates pumps, motors, grit collectors, clarifiers, trickling filters, chemical feed equipment, belt press, flow meter, etc.; performs process control and compliance testing, etc.; maintains supply inventory; collect samples.
Performs a variety of tasks including maintenance of equipment and facilities, preventive and corrective work, housekeeping and grounds keeping, confined space work. Performs records keeping of daily operations records, daily work records, SMX records, chemical logs, sample manifests, and work orders.
Provides for security and safety. Maintains occupational certification and commercial driver’s license. Receives and/or reviews various records and reports such as laboratory reports, work schedules and orders, and sample schedules. Prepares and/or processes various records and reports such as daily work records, daily operations record, punch time clock, work orders, preventive maintenance schedule, and weekly meter readings.
Refers to TCEQ permit, plant operations and maintenance manual, plant drawings, plant schematics, MSDS catalog, training manuals, policy manuals, codes / laws / regulations, publications and reference texts, etc.
Operates a variety of machines and equipment such as pumps and process equipment, computer, shop equipment, welders, torches, power tools, pickup truck, boats, cranes and hoists, mowers, etc.
Uses a variety of tools such as laboratory instruments and apparatus, shop and maintenance tools, etc.; a variety of supplies such as water treatment chemicals, lubricants and fuels, housekeeping supplies, etc.; and a variety of computer software such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, SCADA System, etc.
Interacts and communicates with various groups and individuals such as the Foreman, other Operators, supervisors, Laboratory Technicians, Instrument Technicians, vendors, Police, and the General public.
MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
Requires a high school diploma or GED; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience, which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Requires a valid TCEQ Class “B” Operator’s License or TCEQ Class “C” Operator’s License or acquisition of a TCEQ Class “C” Operator’s License within two years.
Requires a valid Texas Commercial Driver’s License or the acquisition of same within three months.
Lift (80 pounds) from floor to knuckle height and carry up to 15 feet.
Lift from floor to knuckle height a manhole cover weight up to 80 pounds. Employee lifts/carries up to 100 pounds occasionally (less than 5% of the time or 1-100 time per day). CNC / Brake Press Machine Operator Responsibilities
Reviews samples, drawings or instructions to understand specifications of output
Take measurements and mark material for cutting or shaping
Select appropriate machines (e.g. lathes) and position or load material for a job
Determine and program size of batches, speed of machine etc.
Monitor machine while working to adjust the feed, maintain temperature and identify issues
Check output to ensure consistency with specifications and discard defects
Keep records of approved and defective units or final products
Perform routine machine maintenance and repair minor damages
Proven experience as a machine operator 2-5 years or Vocational or technical completion- (Entry level)

P&A Operator - Coil Unit Operator
The P&A Equipment operator is solely responsible for analyzing well plug and abandonment remedial actions, necessary equipment and personnel solutions. The duties of the P&A Equipment Operator include the ability to read, understand, and independently implement the Customer’s project procedures. The individual in this job role must have technical expertise that will enable them to make decisions, when the customer is unavailable, to change procedures as the well conditions change. The P&A Equipment Operator expertly Operates a Coil Tubing unit, cement Pump Truck, Bulk truck and vacuum truck. Employee must also be able transfer cement from bulk storage to bulk truck for shipping. Must be able to lead crew on site with little direction from supervisor.

This individual will function as the primary operator of a collection/yard trimming truck. Operator hydraulic controls on refuse truck.
Perform pre and post trip maintenance related vehicle inspection and operator services; i.e., fluid levels, air pressures, washing, etc. Complete and submit records on check in time, number of load and tonnage, amount of fuel used, and odometer reading. May answer citizen's questions regarding proper content, packing weight, container type pick up times and placement of garbage containers.
May perform special assignments as directed. Oversee the collection and transport of refuse materials to specified sites. Will perform physical labor in the collecting of items. MUST PROVIDE OWN SAFETY SHOES.
There are frequent exposures to extreme levels of temperature, air and noise pollution, chemical gases and substances, and/or contagious diseases or physical trauma conditions of a short-term disabling nature, such as broken bones or temporary loss of sight or hearing.The position requires extensive, near-continuous physical exertion such as repeated lifting of very heavy objects (up to 80 pounds), deep bending, climbing steps and/or assuming awkward positions.
