Lead Keno Writer
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: * Explain and promote Keno to new and continuing players.
Collect, process and return customer’s tickets and/or winnings. Monitor and control Keno systems so that games run in a timely manner.
Accept customer tickets, write tickets, make change, answer questions and make payouts.
Use Keno system control station to start all keno games. Check that all tickets are written before starting game.
Monitor pace of games and shift personnel, if necessary, to quicken games.
Complete all necessary paperwork for large payouts, to include paperwork covering regulation 6A.
Maintain main Keno bank so that the established amount will always be accounted for. Use main bank to make fills, and change, for writer/runner’s banks.
Reconcile main bank at end of shift and turn over to on-coming Lead Writer.
During slow or closed times replenish or organize Keno paper, crayons, pay books and pay cards in the holders on tables and bars in restaurants and casino areas.
Ability to operate computer systems to include Keno system terminal and Keno ticket printer.
Ability to collect information and solve customer concerns promptly and efficiently.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL: * Sufficient math skills needed to perform accurate money handling.
Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Ability to obtain/renew all government required licenses or certification, including state gaming card
Ability to provide clear direction, instruction and guidance to guests. Must be able to listen and respond to guest inquiries in a positive and professional manner.
Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language in order to complete reports, correspondence and communicate with guests, and supervisors.

Must be able to understand and be able to explain how the game of keno is played. This includes understanding all the different pay tables we offer, the correct pricing for each and how many numbers it takes for the guest to win.
Must be able to walk in a brisk manner, make eye contact and announce “keno” when running tickets.
Individual will need to be a strong salesperson and understand how to encourage guests to play.
Ability to quickly learn & understand and use the Xpertx keno system writer station, including proper pricing and conditioning of tickets
Must be able to handle a high volume of tickets when business dictates. We provide on the job training and offer various work shift schedules: Full-Time & Part Time Hours. Weekend Hours may be required. #ZR

Responsible for knowing Emergency Security Operational Procedures.

Responsible for paying winning Keno tickets.
Responsible for the strict compliance with Plaza Hotel and Casino's Internal Controls and compliance with Federal cash reporting requirements.
Ensures the computer and Keno machines are clean.
Report equipment malfunction to management.
Perform additional duties and responsibilities as necessary or assigned.

The main responsibility of the Service Writer is to organize and assist the service manager with opening and closing of service orders through processes listed below.
Typical Duties and
- Verify all checklists, condition reports and required paperwork are filed and stored in the appropriate databases
- Provide quotes for customer repairs and billable charges
- Ensure all billable charge service orders are processed and invoiced timely
- Ensure cut sheets, manuals, and other organizational information is entered and up-to-date in the appropriate databases
- Regularly update unit condition pictures in the appropriate databases
- Prepare any vendor warranty claims and log them appropriately
- Prepare internal warranty claims and log them appropriately
- Organize and prioritize all fleet vehicles, rigs and tractors using ELD software
