Building Maintenance (Seasonal Kettle Driver/Coordinator)
To assist the Corps Officer(s) in the overall maintenance of the building.
Check outside perimeters by removing all unsightly debris,
Vacuum all floor mats, check all wastebaskets for trash, dust & mop lobby all halls, classrooms, and offices.
Check all bathrooms for cleanliness, replenish soap and paper towels, (sweep, clean toilets and mop floor as needed)
Sweep and mop kitchen areas.
Clean chapel (including vacuum, dusting, and polishing pews.
Check and put away all deliveries.
Clean all stairwells ( make sure they are free of debris or trash and mop when needed)
Touch up paint throughout the building, minor repairs, change of lightbulbs, etc. when necessary
Fix plumbing fixtures when necessary.
Drive kettle workers to different location in the morning, pick up kettle workers in the evening
Coordinate the locations where the kettle workers are going to be placed at during the season
Paint the stands and signs and prepare all necessary equipment for the season. Repair bells and stands if needed.
Must possess a valid, current New York Driver's license or obtain one within the first 2 months of hire date.
Knowledge of cleaning supplies and use them appropriately.
Able to do minor repairs for upkeep of the building.
Kettle Operator- Galvanizing
Inspect all lifting equipment prior to use (forklifts, cranes, monorails, chains, slings, etc)
Sweep ash from the kettle on a continual basis and store ash in barrels for later use
Inspect all material before galvanizing to ensure material meets all Sabre Safety guidelines and procedures
Ensure all galvanized products meet Sabre quality requirements, minimize downtime, and promote efficiency and uptime
Knowledge of general safety guidelines and Sabre's quality expectations and application in the work place
Safely performs each and every step of the pretreatment process
Maintain safe and efficient kettle temperatures and kettle zinc levels at all times
Add zinc and other alloys to the kettle as necessary in order to maintain proper levels and proper quality of product
Maintains proper housekeeping and kettle maintenance
Dross kettle (remove sludge) on a predetermined schedule according to Sabre guidelines
Runs, maneuvers, navigates or operate heavy equipment or mechanized equipment in kettle area, such as cranes/overhead cranes
Inform Kettle Lead of any quality concerns and/or maintenance problems.
Actively seeks and supports continuous improvement activities in process efficiencies, costs and effectiveness of work
Additional duties as assigned
Experience using cranes highly preferred
Prior experience in a manufacturing facility highly preferred
Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds on a regular basis
Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving entire body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, bending, twisting and handling of materials
Must be able to work in an outside manufacturing environment for long shifts, including weekends.
Position requires manual dexterity, arm-hand steadiness and a safety-minded individual
Must be able to work in an open environment exposed to extreme temperatures
Must have the ability to concentrate on tasks for long periods of time and be able to observe and receive information from all relevant sources
Ability to pay attention to details and multi-task in a fast paced work environment
Good communication skills, including speaking and understanding English
Ability to identify, define and resolve problems
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent preferred
Ability to read, write and speak English highly preferred
Must be able to obtain SG Crane/Forklift Certification

Kettle Coach (Group Fitness Instructor)
Seattle Kettlebell Club is looking for upbeat, energetic instructors to lead our fitness classes.
You'll be working 10-25 hours a week depending on your schedule. Starting pay $18-35 per 45-minute class, depending on experience and class size. Incremental raises occur based on accrued number of classes you've taught.
Experience is not required, but having a fitness certification or a degree relating to health and fitness is a plus. You will be required to take a 2-hour intro workshop and minimum 50-hours of our classes, and must be able to pass our Kettlebell certification before teaching.

Duties Description: TMW and TMW Trainees, under the supervision of Thruway Maintenance Supervisors 1 or 2 or journey-level trades workers, work alone or as a member of a team performing maintenance, repair, improvement and reconstruction of pavements, shoulders, medians, right-of-way, facilities, ramps, interchanges, bridges, culverts, water control and other structures, appurtenances and retaining walls. TMWs perform snow and ice control activities; operate and perform maintenance and minor repairs on a variety of self-propelled pneumatic and other equipment; and may serve as a team leader and provide guidance and instruction to others.
Duties require medium to heavy physical effort, shift work, call outs, scheduled and unscheduled overtime, exposure to adverse weather conditions, standing for prolonged periods of time, working in non-permit required confined spaces and at heights, and use of personal safety equipment, including respirators.

This position is located in the Refugee and International Health Program of the Cross Cutting, Epidemiology, Programs and Partnerships (CCEPP) Section within the Infectious Disease Epidemiology, Prevention and Control (IDEPC) Division.
This half time student position will assist with data management for newly arrived refugees. Responsibilities include reviewing Minnesota Initial Refugee Health Assessment forms for completeness and accuracy, undertaking proper action to secure and record relevant data appropriately.
Additionally, it exists to provide general assistance to the Refugee Health Program managing various evaluation and epidemiology projects such as the mental health screening pilot, cancer incidence or lead screening evaluations. The position will assist with data analysis and support staff with other RHP duties as assigned

Student Worker Eligibility:
To be eligible for appointment as a Student Worker ParaProfessional Senior you must be enrolled in a post-secondary or graduate educational program or plan to enroll within three months. Students may be "off" for the summer or for one semester/quarter and remain employed as a student worker, but such absences cannot exceed one semester/quarter in a year.
If you are enrolled at a credit-granting institution you must carry at least six semester/nine quarter credits.
