Water Transfer Field Operator
Water Transfer Field Operators will perform duties related to pumping water. Employees in this position will operate trailer mounted, diesel powered pumps to move water through 10 inch aluminum pipe and/or lay flat hose. Each crew will be on active frac sites monitoring tank levels and operating pumps to move water either onsite from tank to tank or from an offsite location (i.e. pond or water coral) to the frac site.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Must be able to take an accurate inventory count of a given job daily/final.
Have an understanding of pressures, and how they can negatively affect a long line transfer.

Participate in JSA/tailgate meetings to identify and mitigate hazards for every job task.
Ability to maintain trucks, trailers, pumps and efficiently report and communicate needed repairs or preventative maintenance as per individual hours of service, miles, etc.
Inspect all equipment on installation, daily during pumping operations and on rig down.

Performs advanced, journey level skilled tasks in the operation and service of all associated equipment and tools needed to construct, maintain or repair county landfill sites. Operating Compactor at the Transfer Station.
Works under the general supervision of the Landfill Manager.
May provide close supervision and instruction to less experienced Equipment Operators I.
Operates compacter, crawler loader, scraper, dozer, bellydump or related heavy equipment utilized in the moving, covering and compacting of waste and animal carcasses deposited into county landfill.
Checks and services assigned equipment; performs routine maintenance and repairs; checks and restores fluid levels; reports mechanical problems for shop repairs.
Acts as a waste screener; observes waste for containments and identifies hazardous waste or other materials excluded from deposit in public landfill.
Monitors patron/public activities to assure compliance with established rules and regulations; operates radio and two-way communications as needed to alert equipment operators of suspicious activity or waste loads.
Deals with public complaints; apprises public of landfill requirements and fees; resolves issues face-to-face or seeks supervisory assistance.
Provides assistance on special construction and maintenance projects undertaken within the landfill; may provide physical or equipment labor related to cutting grades, modifying drainage system or installing protective liners to protect ground water, etc.; operates equipment to assist to stockpile dirt, asphalt, gravel and various materials used in road and landfill construction and maintenance.
