Summary of Position with General Responsibilities
- Perform duties associated with the manufacturing process of knitted fabrics.
Essential Job Functions
Listed below are the essential job functions for the primary responsibilities that a Knitter will perform, however, at any time manufacturing demands may require the Knitter to work on a different product line which would require him/her to perform any or all of the listed additional job functions.
Machine Operator – responsible for operating warp knitting machines, both single needle and double needle bar, up to 14 guide bars.
Fabric damage repair – responsible for replacing broken ends and repairing minor damages in the knitted fabric in gauges up to 64 gauge.
Records – Responsible for recording accurately every damage. Also responsible for recording all webs doffed from machines.
Responsible for maintaining specifications for each product, check and respond to changes as called for within written specification.
Beam Loading – responsible for hanging beams on knitting machines with the assistance of a knitter
Follow manufacturing procedures and Quality System requirements.
Effectively communicate any manufacturing and quality concerns to the supervisor.
Train other employees on new/revised procedures when required.
The ability to work overtime.
Perform other related duties as required
Basic Qualifications
High School Diploma Required.
Mechanical aptitude with previous experience working with Textile equipment a plus.
Must have strong communication skills and be fluent in the English language
Basic math skills including conversion of units of measure normally obtained by a high school graduate or equivalent work experience
Ability to multi-task effectively
Education and/or Experience
- High School diploma or GED required.
- 0-2 years experience in the medical field within production a plus.
Physical Demands
Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Must be able to stand, move, twist and bend to operate, move and clean equipment

Knitter Lead Operator
The Department Lead will:
Report directly to the Production Supervisor. Perform department leadership responsibilities, in addition to perform same duties as those being led in assigned department.
Oversee and monitor production to ensure quality and perform verifications and inspections of products and machines. Perform Supervisor duties in their absence. Interact collaboratively with various employee levels throughout the organization.
Ensure all safety rules are being followed and PPE is worn by all employees. Provides direction and assistance in production, equipment or material issues.
Monitors individual operator performance to ensure safety, quality and quantity standards are met. Schedules break periods and/or absence coverage. Fill in for Utility as needed to keep up production standards.
Ensures that shift personnel have the necessary material and supplies in order to perform their job function properly. Maintains inventory requirements. Monitors data on work orders, department logs, and production runs for accuracy.
Enforces and promotes good housekeeping practices and company safety policies and procedures. Ensures proper handling of hazardous materials. Reports safety violations to supervisor.
Ensures appropriate training occurs in equipment operations, use of tools, safety procedures and housekeeping requirements.
Physical and environmental demands for the Department Lead:
Ability to climb, crouch, kneel, reach with hands and arms, stand for prolonged periods of time, stoop, use hands to finger, handle and feel.
Ability to repeatedly lift up to 55 lbs.
Works near moving mechanical parts.

Job Summary:
Utilizing artificial turf fibers, the knitter operator will run knitting machines and knit products into socks, these socks are then placed into an autoclave for a heat setting process. This process adds texturization to artificial turf fibers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Knit socks from cones of artificial turf fibers
Knowledge of all dangerous parts of machinery
Conduct walkthroughs of the department to ensure clean work areas and that lines are operating efficiently
Manufacture 100% first quality
Constantly monitor line/machinery to ensure properly working
Doff products as required and stage for autoclave, place in autoclave
Make sure lines are running in correct specification
Visually inspect product
Check labels vs. running lot
Attend daily safety huddles, practice safety in all processes
Maintain a clean work area
Report any quality issues or other concerns to management immediately
May include de-knitting process of pulling apart heat set socks and winding back onto bobbins

The A&P/Aviation Mechanic will perform a wide variety of tasks requiring mechanical and electrical fabrication, assembly and test skills to support the Assembly, Test and Launch Operations (ATLO) of spacecraft, which includes manufacturing and test of ground support equipment, assembly and test of complex assemblies/ subsystems and spacecraft system integration and test support. Duties will include:
Build, maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical ground support equipment
Fabricate ground and flight wire harnesses, and perform continuity and other in-process checks using appropriate equipment and procedures
Inventory and inspect parts for compliance with work instruction and other documentation
Verify dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments
Assemble detail parts/ components into an end product following work instructions (structures, mechanisms, subsystems and systems)
Align, fit, and assemble component parts, using hand tools, and fixtures
Set up and operate test equipment to evaluate performance of parts, assemblies, or systems under simulated operating conditions, and record results
Support spacecraft assembly, subsystem test, environmental test, pack & ship operations and launch site processing
Collaborate with engineers and other personnel to identify, define, and solve problems
Create and work in a team environment while implementing Continuous Process Improvement

Must have 5 years of experience working with test and measurement equipment (i.e. O-scopes, frequency response analyzers, spectrum analyzers, multi-meters, scales, torque wrenches)
Must have 5 years of experience with electrical harness fabrication and repair
Must be able to read and work from schematics, engineering drawings, wiring lists, sketches, wiring connection lists and other information and documentation

Must be able to calculate and measure (fractions and decimals)

Job Summary
AECOM is currently seeking a qualified Aircraft Mechanic 2’s in support of U.S. Air Force maintenance operations at Holloman AFB NM. This contract consists of F-16 Block 40 aircraft organizational level (O-level) assigned to the 54th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron (54AMXS), 7th and 8th Aircraft Maintenance Units (AMU) contractor operation and Intermediate level (I-Level) supplementing the 54th Maintenance Squadron (54 MXS) and 49 MXS to support flying training for the 56th Fighter Wing (56 FW), 54th Fighter Group (54 FG), training mission at Holloman AFB (HAFB), NM.
The Aircraft Mechanic 2 maintains repairs and modifies aircraft structures, structural components and engines of complex to extreme difficulty, maintains and repairs aircraft components including but not limited to flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems and mechanical components, and applies technical knowledge of airframe and power plant systems in determining equipment malfunctions and applies technical expertise in restoring equipment condition and operation. May inspect, repair and maintain aircraft associated support equipment.
Essential responsibilities:
1.Applies professional technical expertise and guidance to solve complex problems by interpreting technical data such as blueprints or manufactures' manuals.
2.Work typically requires a thoroughly comprehensive knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting/repair procedures and replacement of components, a thorough knowledge of aircraft sheet metal/structural modification and repair and the ability to determine functionality of non-complex electrical systems.
3.This worker will be required to make entries in aircraft logs and records, and is responsible for providing guidance and technical expertise to lower level technicians throughout all aircraft modifications and/or maintenance efforts.

Minimum Requirements
Must be a High School graduate or equivalent with a minimum five (5) years actual and recent aircraft maintenance experience is required.
Must have completed military aviation maintenance training or aviation maintenance technical school curriculum or possess an FAA issued A&P license.
