Perform a variety of duties to prepare castings for cleaning, inspection, and grinding. Support the Cleaning Room in other capacities as assigned. Perform all tasks with safety and quality in mind and in accordance with established procedures and process instructions. Take necessary action to minimize delaytime and maximize production. Responsibilities/Duties/Universal/ * Exhibit superior safety practices every day evidenced by outstanding housekeeping at all times.
Extend treatment to all other employees of the Company as individuals with the courtesy and dignity shown to customers.
Exceed customer quality and service expectations through attention to detail.
Exercise maximum care to protect the environment by fostering and supporting responsible operating procedures. /Essential/ * Remove runner bars, risers, sprues, large fins, etc. from castings in accordance with established procedures and work instructions.
Position castings and remove the gating system and other large irregularities using sledge hammers, impact hammers and other appropriate tools.
Place castings in the proper containers. Segregate all scrap iron such as gating, risers, etc. into the proper remelt hoppers.
Separate obvious scrap castings.
Notify the Cleaning Room Supervisor of casting breakage or continuing scrap problems.
Ensure casings move smoothly through the shakeout system and make corrections as necessary.
Operate the wheelabrator to remove adhering sand, scale, small fins and other debris from rough castings and to reach the required surface finish.
Maintain the wheelbrator function by adjusting wheelabrator cycle times based on random, regular inspections and operating characteristics, setting wheelabrator timers according to work instructions, ensuring the proper amperage is being drawn bythe wheel motor, ensuring shot levels are appropriate, etc.
Notify the Cleaning Room Supervisor regarding any equipment that requires repair or replacement.
Maintain work area in a clean and orderly manner.

Required Qualifications* * Requires ability to read and write, add and subtract, use direct reading and fixed gauges.
Must be able to lift up up to 70 pounds.
Must be able to stand the majority of shifts.

PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking a ELECTRONICS ASSEMBLER for an open position in Wilsonville, OR.
Position Description: • Under limited supervision, performs a variety of moderately complex electronic tasks following Industry and standards for electronic soldering (SMT & thru-hole), mechanical assembly, and optics handling/cleaning. May be asked to fill in for more senior members of the work area as needed.
May work a variety of assembly stations. • Following/reading blueprints, wiring schematics, written work instructions and verbal instructions assembles electronic subassemblies, top assemblies, and complete assemblies. May be asked to assist other production employees on production activities. • Required to use hand tools and power tools to assemble and rework a variety of parts/assemblies and perform required assembly/rework operations to meet quality standards. Job Title: Medical Assembler 1

This section focuses on the main purpose of the job in one to four sentences.
The Medical Assember I is responsible for executing all processes in production while strictly adhering to cGMP, environmental health and safety guidelines and any other related regulations which could apply. He/She is expected to fully participate in both departmental projects and any quality working teams which may be applicable. Under the general direction of the lead technician and the overall direction of the supervisor, this position shall be responsible for the hands on execution of all activities in the production area.
Essential Duties and
This section contains a list of five to eight primary responsibilities of this role that account for 5% or more of the work. The employee will perform other duties assigned.
1.May perform various tasks associated with processing tissue, chemical solutions, and small component assembly required for production.
2.Supply components, small parts, glassware, tubing, etc. to cell culture and purification areas.
3.Operate general production equipment (such as parts washers, autoclave, stir plates, etc.)
4.Complete relevant paperwork following GDP/GMP guidelines.
5.Manually clean all portable equipment and small parts.
6.Participate on Continuous Improvement Teams.
7.Receive and distribute supplies into the production area as necessary.
