General Laborer - Wax Assembly
Job Title: Assembly – Wax patterns

Objective: To efficiently inspect wax products (patterns) and determine accurate assembly methods. Assembles a variety of complex products to achieve customer quality specifications and on‐time delivery schedules. May perform detailing functions. Troubleshoots and reworks malfunctions disclosed by test data.

Plant Laborer / Packer / Assembly
Silgan Closures, New Castle plant is seeking highly motivated dependable employees to join our team on the production floor. We will train you on the job.
The plant runs operations 7 days a week, 3 shifts. Employees work a steady shift with 6 days on 2 days off with two 3 day weekends in a row every 6 weeks. Starting rate of pay is $10 per hour. New Hires are assigned to midnight or afternoon shifts. 8 hours per day with paid lunch and break time.
Silgan provides full time hours, 2 weeks paid vacation, 10 paid holidays and 2 personal paid days off along with a competitive benefit package after 60 days of full time employment.
Prepare production paperwork for machine start-up and operation.
Monitor machine operation to ensure parts are collected into storage boxes and are counted correctly.
Perform quality checks following machine re-starts or as needed.
Evaluate product to ensure high quality and conformance with established standards.
Report any food safety and quality problems or concerns to the Plant Quality Manager Ensure that there are no foreign objects or contamination in the customer product and/or boxes.

Under the direction of the group leader, perform general assembly functions.
Work from blueprints, assembly drawings, assembly routing sheets, wire lists, verbal instructions and process and mil specs, perform general assembly operations including printed wire board assembly, conformal coating, potting, ultrasonic cleaning, coil winding, evacuation and backfill, component forming, wire wrapping and painting as required by program or process.
