Under general direction from team manager and in conjunction with team members, contribute to company quality and service commitments by operating equipment, such as, Single Color, Sheet Fed or Continuous/Web presses. Runs mostly standard work and basic manual numbering may be required. Automated or basic setups and changeovers may be required.
Perform a complete set-up of press in an efficient manner, which may include: identifying and loading correct stock, setting correct paper path and stretch, mounting plates, die registration, making appropriate adjustments to the ink and water levels, assuring accurate single-color register and setting up any attribute functions, e.g. perforations, number, file holes, thermo unit, etc.
Determine and understand all order instructions and running of press productively while, meeting job requirements of ink density, ink and water balance, color matching, and required attributes at a quality level that meets or exceeds our customer's expectations.
Maintain the ability to troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns; demonstrate the ability to make adjustments to the equipment including blanket changes, wash up units, cleaning water system and roller settings as required.
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance and cleaning to ensure a quality product to customer as required. Understand all press controls and demonstrate their use.
Maintain knowledge of the press, current printing processes and develop continuous process improvements that support the Lean philosophy and work environment.
Maintain company quality standards, service levels and customer expectations by meeting or exceeding department/cell goals and customer specifications. Examples may include: maintaining acceptable ink densities, troubleshooting lithographic press settings and willingness to cross train other team members.
Contribute toward team effectiveness and workflow efficiency by rotating duties as needed.
Maintain customer confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential.
Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
Support operations and contribute toward team results by performing other production or related jobs as required.

The following describes in general terms the purpose and scope of the position. Sets up and operates heavy duty power press to bend, form, and straighten metal plates, formed sheet metal, structural shapes, and weldments.
Read, interpret, and follow work orders, mylars, check fixtures and other engineering data.
Acquire required tooling by using internal procedures.
Operate hydraulic and mechanical presses.
Properly install dies into press.
Adjust press stroke and tonnage.
Operate automated argon system.
Check own work and take first part to quality inspection.
Collects SPC data according to the control plan attached to the work order.
Makes any adjustments necessary to maintain quality parts within control limits for SPC.
Responsible for the proper handling and management of hazardous waste generated in their work area.

12. For flexible endoscopes, perform leak tests; initiate cleaning according to manufacturer's

Contracted Sterile Processing Technicians shall:
1. Perform all functions of the prep/packaging and sterilization process including documentation
and quality assurance procedures.
2. Examine and visually inspect instrumentation and appropriate functioning, and cleanliness.
3. Assemble instrument sets according to count sheets. Place sets in appropriate outer container or
4. Inspect assemble, package and document the contents of a wide variety of surgical and dental
trays and instruments according to count sheet.
5. Properly and safely load, operate and trouble shoot a variety of sterilizers including but not
limited to: steam, hydrogen peroxide plasma (VPro,), ETO and automated endoscopic reprocessor

Contracted Sterile Processing Technicians shall:
1. Wear proper protective apparel and equipment at all times.
2. Properly transports all items for HLD process before and after processing.
3. Inspect items for HLD process, and process following all MI for reprocessing.
4. Perform all functions of the HLD process including documentation and quality assurance
5. Properly and safely load and operate the automated endoscope re-processors and other HLD
equipment as needed.
3. Physical Fitness
The work requires standing and walking during the entire workday, and
frequent bending and lifting of supply packages (occasionally weighing as much as 40 pounds).
The contracted employee regularly pushes loaded carts weighing several hundred pounds, in
sometimes crowded quarters and works them over slight rises such as door sills.
b. Work Environment: On a regular and recurring basis, the contracted employee alternates
between a contaminated environment and a carefully controlled clean environment. The
contracted employee wears special clothing, hair covers, beard covers and shoe covers which can
be uncomfortably warm. The contracted employee uses insulated gloves to remove carts from
sterilizers. The contracted employee is subject to burns from accidentally touching hot items.
The hazards of working around minute quantities of sterilizing gasses are unknown. The
contracted employee often works around body fluids, mucus, excretions, and bits of tissue, some
of which may be foul smelling. The work area is noisy due to the clatter of metal instruments,
rumbling of carts, and operation of pre-sterilizing equipment. Use of ultrasonic equipment may
require use of ear protectors.
c. All employees shall be literate and able to communicate (speak) with clients in English to the
extent of reading and understanding printed regulations, detailed written orders, training
instructions and material, and shall be able to compose reports which convey complete

Skills & Abilities: Must possess basic reading, math, and computer skills in order to access instrument tray and picklists. Must be able to distinguish between sterile and non-sterile; assure proper packaging techniques and appropriate sterilization cycles for all items. Must comprehend sterility maintenance, have a complete understanding of the sterilization process, and maintain a surgical conscience.

Battery Plate Processor

Concorde Battery Georgia Corporation is currently looking for a driven candidate to join the pasting department in various roles. Successful candidate will need to fulfill daily production requirements given from the department supervisor. The position will work at various workstations within the pasting department. The candidate will be given hands on training by the supervisor and colleagues; this is an exceptional opportunity. Overtime may be availalbe.
Follow written and oral instructions.
Adjust pasting machine to control quality standards.
Stack grids onto machine feeder.
Offloading plates from conveyor.
Adjust temperature on pasting oven.
Operating curing ovens.
Inspect and clean plates.
Standing for long periods of time.
Maneuver up to 80 pounds.
Reaching, carrying, bending/stooping, pushing/pulling.
Wearing a respirator and other required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Comply with all safety requirements; participate in safety training/practices.
Maintain a clean work area and follow company hygiene guidelines.
Use small hand tools.
Communicate to supervisor when detecting defective materials.
Reading numbers and letters.
Work with and around hazardous materials.
Work in hot and cold temperatures.
Education and Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Read, write, and speak English
Punctual and reliable
Must complete pre-employment physical/drug screen
