Description:
Main Industries has been serving the marine and industrial market for over 40 years. Beginning as a premiere marine coatings company, Main has grown into a multi-craft industry leader in marine and industrial scaffolding and access in addition to its decades of experience in surface prep and coatings.
Main is hiring for full-time marine General Shipyard Laborers. No relocation or per diem available.
A brush and roll painter applies the specified coating system via hand brush and paint rollers. The primary responsibilities of the brush and roller are to touch up coatings applied by a spray painter, apply a stripe coat by brush and roller and/or apply a full coatings system, with a brush and roller, to small, tight or hard to spray areas. Brush and rollers often times are responsible for hand tool cleaning and/or power tool surface preparation using small hand held pneumatic or electric tools. Various cleaning duties using solvent wiping, industrial vacuuming, or pressure washing are other common responsibilities of the brush and roller.
Job Type: Full-time, hourly
Preferred Experience: Six months' experience in a shipyard environment is preferred.
Must be 18 years' old
Experience working in a physically demanding environment; confined spaces, working at heights
Be respirator fit tested and trained in respiratory safety per OSHA standards
Forklift training/certification a plus (additional training will be required once hired for those using a forklift)
Aerial man lift training/certification a plus (additional training will be required once hired for those using an aerial man lift)
Understand and carry out verbal directions given by supervisor
Understand and obey all posted warning, caution, notification and/or hazards signs posted on a job site

No overtime is guaranteed, but some projects do require overtime. This could be more than 40 hours during the normal Monday Friday work week, work on the weekends or both. Some projects do have a night shift. You will be expected to be at work on all days/nights assigned.

Retail Operations Manager-Tha Launch At Hingham Shipyard
The Retail Operations Manager (ROM) is responsible for leading through Ulta Beauty's mission, vision, and values in order to develop a high-performing team that consistently delivers top-line sales growth. The ROM leads a team of task associates, including a key-holding supervisor, and is accountable for all aspects of managing the operations of a retail store, inclusive of inventory-related processes, merchandise resets, visual ad sets, and pricing compliance. Use the company's task management tool as directed to prioritize and execute store workload, including product and marketing resets, pricing updates, inventory related tasks, cleaning, and replenishment.
Protect company assets and minimize loss by ensuring all store standards and operating procedures are met, including workplace safety, inventory control, and loss prevention.
Support continuous improvement by implementing company programs and influencing end-user adoption
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's degree is preferred
Experience
2-3+ years of fast-paced, retail management, or other relevant work experience
Financial management: success with driving top-line sales, interpreting reporting data, managing payroll budgets, and controlling expense
Retail management: proven ability with monitoring inventory levels, achieving operational excellence, driving a service culture, and executing merchandising directives
