This position is responsible to operate Wave Solder, Wenesco and Selective solder equipment; sets up and operates semi-automatic machines used in the production of pcb assemblies. Responsible for the overall operation of large-scale manufacturing machine solder equipmnet including actions such as feeding materials for processing, adjusting settings, performing minor repairs, and pulling finished product from the line. Must be able to handle a fast paced environment with a high volume workload.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: (include but are not limited to)
Solder electronic components to the highest industry standards (IPC-A-610 Class III, J-STD-001 Class III).
Prepares boards for solder operations. Cleans boards and masks designated areas.
Visually check work in process for solder defects and makes adjustments as required.
Clean printed circuit boards and equipment as necessary.
Comprehend and follow instructions, read and understand blueprints.
Communicate regularly to supervisor/managers.
Work effectively and responsibly with others.
Maintain cleanliness of the work area.
Collects solder dross in proper labeled containers and transports to hazardous waste area.
Accomplish all job related paperwork in the most accurate and ethical manner.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Ability to understand printed circuit board assembly including reading assembly drawings, Bill of Materials and written work instructions.
Must know how electronic components are oriented and distinguish the part numbers.
Understand the rules and requirements for proper handling of electronic components: Electrostatic Static Discharge (ESD).
The candidate needs to be familiar with Institute for Printed Circuit (IPC) standards for correct soldering and rework methods, including soldering fine pitch surface mount technology (SMT) and through hole components.
Ability to work up to 10 hours a day, 5 days a week and is flexible to work up to 10 hours a day, 5 days a week and weekends if necessary.
Good reading vision: ability to sit/stand for up to 10 hours.

Plate Making And Mounting
To gather all required tooling needed to mount flexographic plates and screens for the printing presses according to the press schedule and press needs. Then mount the required plates, screens onto the tooling and then place onto the staging cart for transportation to the press.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Review daily press schedule to mount all plate-screen related needs for upcoming orders.
Retrieve all tooling required to mount the orders from the storage racks and place on the cart. Some extension and twisting is required to load cylinders on cart. Some plate cylinders weigh up 75 pounds.
Lift cylinder off of cart and load on to the plate mounter. Once plate is mounted lift off the plate mounter and place onto transportation cart.
Inspect quality of completed plates and screens.
Seam and mount any rotary screens that are required for the order. Weight of rotary screen is 5 pounds.
Backup Plate Making if needed.
Clean all machines on a regular schedule.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Order weekly supplies.
Keep entire plate-screen room clean.
Dispose of hazardous waste into labeled drums for hazardous waste disposal.

Pcba – Solder Rework 2Nd & 3Rd Shift (PA IV)
The Rework Technician will perform efficient, effective, and highly reliable surface mount micro-component replacement and repairs to a wide variety of electronic circuit boards and other devices.
This individual must have been trained and certified in IPC-A-610 or equivalent soldering standard and have 3 years of experience in lead and lead-free soldering repair of micro surface mount industrial electronics to component level. The Rework technician must be capable of performing complex rework operations in support of BGA (Ball Grid Array) repair/replacement on densely populated boards and performing lifted/damaged pad repairs of the PCB fabrication. Familiarity and experience with ERSA and DAGE equipment for performing rework preferred.
Key Job Duties
Perform a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical rework tasks in support of service and occasional manufacturing requirements.
Work from schematics, blueprints and oral instructions to repair or modify assemblies, sub-assemblies and components.
Perform rework and quality testing. Most work requires use of a microscope during rework activities.
Perform repairs in accordance with appropriate Quality Standards and industry soldering practices.
