The Factory/Site Manager position is responsible for all manufacturing and facility related activities in support of Operation's Strategic Make Centers (SMC). The Factory/Site Manager will report to the Director of the Energetics Strategic Make Center and be part of the SMC leadership team for the overall direction and execution of delivering product, on time, at or below cost and in a safe environment.
This position will provide direct leadership and direction to Value Stream Managers (VSM) as a cross functional IPT. Through strategic leadership of the VSMs, the Site Manager will be accountable for the overall performance of these Value Streams as well as the POC/conduit of information for coordination with the McAlester Ammunition Plant.
The Factory/Site Manager will be tasked to define clear operational schedules, priorities and goals for the facility. This person will lead, collaborate and influence functional managers and all employees to allow for continuous manufacturing flow, optimal production output, cost reductions, compliance, strategy and be accountable for cost, schedule, capital, strategy, employee hiring and proposals.
The Factory/Site Manager will have significant dealings with both internal Raytheon customers and external customers such as the McAAP Ammunition Plant personnel that provides the touch workforce to support the Raytheon product builds of hardware and deliveries. As this is a standalone site, this position will also be accountable to ensure all aspects of the site are supported and successful including Quality audits, Security audits, facilities maintenance, Explosive Safety, EHSS, and key program communication.
