Job Description & Qualifications:
Key responsibilities include:
1.Greets and assists employees, provides information and assistance to employees regarding worker's compensation, leave of absence, and benefits programs.
2.Ensures that employee files are set up and maintained in accordance with company standards and government regulations.
3.Ensures all employees are complied with I-9 requirements. Maintain I-9 binders.
4.Manage employee area, such as lockers, HR bulletin boards etc. Making sure employee area is well maintained and updated.
5.Provide employment verification for current and formal employees.
6.Manage HR Office supplies, keep tracking HR Department Checkbooks, creating POs etc.
1.Assists with screening employment applications, pre-screening candidates, setting up interviews.
2.Oversees the background screening process for new hires.
3.Coordinates new employee onboarding, ensuring a smooth, pleasant onboarding experience.
1.Answers questions regarding basic interpretation of personnel policies and procedures.
2.Brings all sensitive employee relations matters to the attention of the Director of Human Resources.
3.Coordinates various employee relations' activities, such as monthly birthday party, quarterly recognition reception, quarterly managers outing, annual awards party etc.
4.Recommends employee relations practices to promote a high level of employee morale and motivation.
5.Assist with administration of associates' opinion surveys.
1.An average 3.75 GPA with a bachelor degree from a four year university. Proficient in Micro Soft Office Suite, especially good at Word, Excel & PowerPoint. Be able to design eye catching posters for employee activities.
2.Detail oriented, understand the confidentiality of the job, be able to keep sensitive information confidential.
3.Accountable, responsible and punctual.
4.Good organization skills, efficient, strong work ethic.
5.Have an interest in HR or hospitality industry, has the potential to develop.
6.Hotel or Office admin experience preferred.
7.Have to commit to work at least one day a week. Have to be able to work on Tuesdays and Fridays. Have to commit to stay on the job for a year.
R3 Contracting is a family owned, fully insured business out of Hampshire, IL but we do most of our jobs in the Hoffman Estates/Schaumburg area. We are in search for 2-4 skilled laborers. Somebody that is skilled in all forms of construction but mainly in new construction and remodeling, i.e. cabinetry, flooring and tile install, drywall, plumbing, painting and much more. Must be able to be left on a job site and perform all required task. Must be able to communicate effectively with customer and other employees as needed. Must be able to pass background check. - Driving to our downtown sales office to deliver equipment

- Driving to our vinyl production company to transport equipment to and from our warehouse
- Unpacking and checking return shipments for damages
- Unwrapping vinyl decals from equipment
- Keeping the warehouse orderly
- Making sure that all equipment is clean at all times
- Checking in and checking out equipment through our inventory system
- Taking care of small projects during down time such as selling equipment that is no longer used on eBay, assist with creative project testing

The Facilities department is a service organization dedicated to support the College's Mission and its various constituents in a proactive manner. We provide a wide range of services to efficiently operate, maintain and protect our facilities, grounds and infrastructure, in such a way as to create and sustain a clean, safe, functional and aesthetic environment conducive to quality learning, living and working, while preserving our College's physical heritage for future generations.
Perform various landscaping duties such as grass cutting, raking, digging, pruning, trimming, planting and caring for trees, bushes, shrubs, flowers, grass, etc., consistent with the upkeep and maintenance of the grounds, greenhouses and the athletic fields. Additional focus on care and maintenance of shrubs, perennials and annuals.
Remove and dispose of rubbish and trash, sweep walks and roadways, remove debris. Shovel and salt walkways, stairs and streets.
