Litho Label Laminator Operator
Day to day Responsibilities:
- Set-up laminator accurately in accordance with proper setup techniques.
- Inspect labels before run to ensure that label is to specification, particularly trim and registration.
- Ensures that the label storage area is maintained and organized.
- Provide inventory details to sales management an accounting.
- Monitor corrugated sheet quality, including, but not limited to, loose liner, warp, and correct size.
- Check glue roll for proper glue application.
- Maximize the utilization of equipment by operating the machinery at available capacity and speed.
- Maintain file of Mylars for registration for repeat orders.
- Train and assist Stacker with job responsibilities on machine.
- Cross-train on other machines, especially die cutters.
- Complete necessary reports in an accurate and timely manner, including but not limited to: Production Data, Machine Operational Status, Safety & Quality Data.
- Turn in maintenance work orders to supervision for needed repairs. Be proactive in the maintenance of equipment.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping.
- Adheres to production schedule. Makes recommendations for optimizing the scheduled to meet cost, quality and service goals. Reports any unusual scheduling issues to Supervisor.
- Additional duties may be assigned by management.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Prior experience in corrugated industry
- 6 months experience in the press or finishing department
- Ability to read and follow written instructions on factory masters
- Ability to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy. Able to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, measurement, volume and rate. Ability to perform and apply high school math concepts.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or graphic form. Ability to deal with problems involving one or more concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Individual must have a working knowledge of the following: equipment design and capabilities that can be translated into efficient operations. Product layouts and production specifications. Quality standards.

Laminator Operator - Flexible Packaging (2Nd Shift Rotation Hours) - Shawano, WI

Belmark is currently seeking a Laminator Operator to run our world class equipment to produce a high quality product in a timely fashion for our customers. With a focus on innovation and customer satisfaction, our operators are able to work in a friendly environment with a potential to grow with the company. Location is in Shawano, WI. This position will be either on the 2A or 2B shift. The final shift will be determined. The work hours are from 4:00 P.M. - 4:00 A.M. with a schedule of 3 days on and 4 days off. Employees on this shift work 36 hours and are paid for 40 hours. The shift differential for 2A/2B is $1.00 more per hour.

Operate a solventless laminator at the highest efficiency possible while following standard operating procedures and work instructions to produce a high quality product.
Ensure proper sleeve, tensions, machine alignment and settings on each job.
Web the laminator, maintain adhesives, clean the laminator, install sleeves and assist in installing rollers.
Perform routine press maintenance.
Maintain quality, productivity and waste according to set standards.
Requires education equivalent to two (2) years of high school.
Knowledge of and the ability to effectively utilize the English language.
Regular attendance is an essential function of the position. May be required to work some overtime.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers, decimals and fractions.
Ability to give, receive and analyze information.
Ability to meet deadlines.

Performs elementary and routine mix and lay-up of composite materials, fiberglass, resins, and catalysts onto mold surface using various hand tools
Works with various resins, gel-coats, fiberglass materials, foam, and structural adhesives
Installs wood and other components into fiberglass hulls, decks, and small part molds
Operates a variety of power tools including but not limited to saws, drills, grinders, and overhead hoists
Locates parts by hand or by utilizing detailed blueprints, work instructions, tools, and/or fixtures
Sanding of fiberglass hulls, decks, and small part molds.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements include respirators, gloves, chemical resistance aprons, and chemical resistant suits.
Have the ability and desire to work in a hot and humid work environment especially in the Florida summer.
Ability to work a 10+ hour shift standing, bending, reaching. As well as, climbing on and through stairs, molds, and staging throughout the duration of your shift.
Moderate lifting ability up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment. The work location may be above 100 ambient degrees or below 10 ambient degrees in areas of production.
Ability to work in a fast paced, noisy environment
Have the flexibility to work overtime both planned and unplanned to meet company goals.

Night Shift: 5:00pm -- 3:30am Monday – Thursday
An hourly premium shift differential is available for employees working night shift.

Robotic Maintenance Tech / Automotive Plant
Solid work experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the Automotive Industry; Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in electric maintenance/ assembly maintenance; Electrical and Electronic knowledge;

Please note that his position will not be working out of the Hartford CR/T plant, but the Kingston location, located in Sussex, WI. As a Roller Maker, you will be involved in the rubber roller recovery process. This is a specialized process of refurbishing the many rubber rollers Quad operations utilizes. The hours of this position are M-F, from 8a-5p.m. with overtime as needed. We're willing to train the right individual for the job. Other duties include:
Receive in and schedule roller recovery orders for all Quad print plants
Remove bearings and inspect journal ends for defects
Strip rubber off old rollers using a stripping lathe
Build the rollers with the use of 3 roll builders utilizing rolls of raw rubber
Machine and Polish rollers with the use of grinding/polishing lathes
Finish rollers to press ready state – paint cores, package, install bearings
Ability to read blue prints and precision measuring devices – micrometer, tape measure, dial indicators.
The ability to perform basic math calculations is essential.
Willing to learn the operations of various lathes.
The successful candidate must be able to thrive in a team environment and work independently with minimal supervision.
A working knowledge of Microsoft Office/Windows based software is strongly desired.
Ability to lift 50 lbs. or greater is required.
Ability to drive fork trucks is required.
High school diploma or a GED preferred.

Milling And Blending Operator
Contract to Hire (6 months)
Milling: Adhering to batch sheet instructions to mill required material. Calculating supplemental ingredients and material issuing on IREN via computer/scanner.
Blending: Adjusting scale based on batch sheet to fill required weight of boxes/drums. Following batch sheet to abide by product specific requirement for filling boxes.
Sealing & Stacking: Operating MTEK sealer to vacuum seal filled liners. Ensuring finished packaged product conforms to company standards and arranging products on a pallet in a predetermined sequence.
Sanitation: Adhering to SOP instructions to clean and sanitize equipment and room.
Minimum 6 months experience in warehouse/manufacturing environment. Must be able to lift up to 55lbs., push up to a 450lb. metal drum on a roller conveyor, and stand for prolonged periods. Read, write and understand the English language. Follow proper housekeeping and sanitary GMP procedures to prevent product contamination; use clean tools and utensils, and properly stored or hung to prevent product contamination.

Description: Examines rollers for defects, such as marks, scratches or other blemishes.
Marks rollers that are to be scrapped, as detailed by the Association of American Railroads (AAR) and the customer specifications. Other tasks as assigned by the supervisor or company management.
Overall Purpose: Examines rollers for visual acceptance for the use in future bearing assemblies.
1.Places cone assemblies onto a mandrel for a visual inspection of the rollers contained within.
2.Visually inspects rollers under magnification, for conformance with AAR and customer specifications.
3.Indicates acceptability of rollers through the use of a non-permanent marking pen.
