Holly's Enchanted Gardens is a small company started early in 2016. Our focus is on bed maintenance, planting trees, flowers, and bulbs, pruning, seeding, mulching, holiday decorations, and snow removal throughout the winter. WE DO NOT MOW LAWNS. We work mostly at private properties, which means you must carry yourself in a professional manner and pay close attention to the concerns of our client. We work mostly within Ozaukee County, but we frequently travel to Fox Pointe, White Fish Bay, Elm Grove, and Brown Deer.
- Must be VERY detail-oriented and able to work alone with minimal guidance
- Valid driver's license is required in case you need to pick up/deliver mulch or soil.
- Must have reliable transportation, as some days you will be required to meet at our shop in Cedarburg. You may also be asked to meet on site.
- Must be able to lift at least 75 lbs
- Must have endurance to work 8-10 hour shifts that are physically demanding
- Full time applicants must be able to work 40-55 hours a week
- Part time applicants must be able to work 20-30 hours a week, no half days.
- Experience is preferred, but not necessary. Your rate of pay will be determined based on your experience/knowledge. Will train.
Benefit packages will be offered after 1000 hours of work. Uniforms will be included, including hand pruners, knives, and handsaws. Other work related attire will be purchased for you after a 90 day probationary period. Paid holidays, holiday bonus and vacations after 1 year of employment.

Job Summary Performs all duties that pertain to ground maintenance, gardening and operation of equipment necessary to maintain the University grounds.
Responsibilities Operates grounds equipment of various types including power sod cutter, chain saw, hand and power sprayers, light trucks, three wheeled scooters, power push mower, tri-plex mower, farm tractor, soil screener, limb chipper and related tools and equipment. Maintains lawns by completing essential tasks such as: fertilizing, mowing, edging, seeding, sodding, aerating, and other related activities that contribute to good lawn care.
Prepares for seeding and transplanting by cultivating the soil, watering, weeding and adding fertilizer and chemicals depending on the nature of the soil and the requirements of the plants. The incumbent is responsible for the health, care and appearance of a variety of trees and shrubs. He/she is also required to know the common names of trees, shrubs, monocots, and dicots.
Functions as a trainer in certain circumstances, by training new employees and in carrying out other assignments as directed by the Crew Leader. Also, may work with and act as a leadworker over summer help. Ensures that all grounds maintenance within assigned area is accomplished in accordance with University and department policies and procedures. Ensures that seasonal tasks are completed expediently and efficiently in order to preserve the beauty of the campus and provide safety for the University community.
Minimum Qualifications Successful completion of an approved apprenticeship program as a Master Gardener, or equivalency; nine months of progressively more responsible grounds experience; a knowledge of the common names of trees, shrubs, monocots, and dicots; and a valid Utah State Non-Commercial Pesticide Applicator License required. Demonstrated oral and written communications skills; analytical and trouble shooting skills; and customer services skills also required.
