Starwood Med Spa is seeking an Esthetician / Laser Technician. We are a fast growing Med Spa that offers a vast amount of Medical Spa services. We are seeking a candidate that is highly motivated; a team player, has lots of positive energy, a proven sales ability, and is confident in demeanor and loves working with people. Only individuals with at least two- three years experience in these areas will be considered. A cosmetic laser technician / licensed esthetician generally works under the supervision of a medical doctor, Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, in our medical spa after completing training to use our cosmetic lasers and a variety of skin care applications. Responsibilities will include - cosmetic consultations, recommendations for cosmetic products, performing chemical peels, Hydrafacials, LHR, skin rejuvenation treatments, microneedling, ... to name a few of our services.
A successful cosmetic laser technician at Starwood Med Spa works independently and as part of a team to improve the health and self-esteem of a client. Great customer service skills are required for this position as well as attention to detail and the willingness to consistently pursue training to stay current as cosmetic laser technology advances.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The individual will assist Operations in building prototype, Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) and full production laser systems . The Sr. Laser Alignment Technician will assist production personnel with daily build and troubleshooting, identify and implement improved processes through use of Lean Six Sigma and other improvement methodologies and training of new assembly personnel. The majority of time to be spent on the production floor working in a cleanroom environment.

Laser Technician - 1St Shift
purpose of this role is to provide technical support to daily production/development activities for the Laser department. This position requires strong technical aptitude for use in applications utilizing various technologies including: laser welding, laser cutting, laser marking, electrolytic machining, electro-polishing, cleaning and passivation, chemical and mechanical deburrying, work holding and tooling/fixturing.

Level of Skill, Education and Experience:
A.S. degree in Engineering preferred. Experience with CAD systems, Microsoft Project and other relevant software systems a plus.
Ideal candidate has experience in a contract manufacturing environment. High mechanical aptitude is required. Must be able to work with minimal guidance and have good analytical and problem solving skills.
Must be a self-motivated, hands-on individual with a strong sense of urgency and passion for the customer. Must have the ability to react quickly to changing requirements and new processing developments as well as have a keen interest in quickly learning and applying new skills. The Laser Test Technician will be responsible for optical/laser assembly, test and calibration, along with data collection and analysis. In addition, perform rework on assemblies and/or systems in response to failures and non conformance.
Assemble, clean and test electro-optical assemblies, and laser systems to meet performance specifications.

The Laser Cutter Production Operator is responsible operating the laser cutter machine in the production department. Troubleshoots minor operating difficulties including: analyzing machine operations, locating troublesome elements within machines, making necessary mechanical and software adjustments to eliminate quality variations and mechanical malfunctions. The Laser Cutter Production Operator inspects products, tracks production, maintains equipment as necessary, and completes production paperwork.

Supports machine set-ups and changeovers, including paper loading.
Performs basic machine troubleshooting.
Records down time, maintains production records, and other data entry as needed.

Ability to make minor adjustments to machines to maintain quality standards.
Inspects and packs finished parts properly; distinguishes between different colors and shades of color, and identifies small defects (scratches, dents, smudges, etc.).
Keeps machine area(s) clean throughout the shift and prepares machine area(s) for subsequent shift.
Assists with material handling requirements as needed, supports Quality team to weigh and label boxes, and tracks racks in process of repair.
