Machine Operator/Wire Spooler - Temp To Perm Applicants Only
This position will primarily operate wire spooling machines and mainly interacts with department co-workers. The principle challenge of this position is to sustain high production levels of spooled product. The principle focus of this position is to provide superior quality products. This is a production operation where the incumbent will stay very near his/her production machine.
Perform work in a safe manner following all EH&S procedures and reporting EH&S concerns.
Accountable for production quality including, but not limited to, wire cleanliness, wire cast & pitch, and level layer winding.
Must read and follow written instructions to ensure customer demands are met and utilize a computer for inventory tracking and traceability.
Thread-up and operation of Wire Spooling machines. This may include the manipulation of up to 900-pound spools.
Winding of the aluminum wire onto carrier spools.
Boxing and packaging of carrier spools. Moving pallets utilizing an industrial fork truck.
Maintaining a clean and neat work area.
Support and participate in corporate initiatives that improve overall business performance as needed such as lean, EH&S, etc...
High School Diploma preferred but not mandatory.
Mechanical aptitude for routine set-up and maintenance on the spooling machine.
Physical ability to maneuver up to 900-pound spools of wire on the floor and lift 35 pounds.
Ability to read and follow written instructions.
Ability to keep neat and accurate records.
Ability to drive and operate an industrial fork truck.
Must be able to work at least 12 hours per day including Saturdays and Sundays.

The mill mechanic operates wire drawing mills to produce drawn wire to internal and external customers. The position requires a complete knowledge of the inter-workings of the mills, spoolers and/or any production equipment and how to keep them running/operational.
Starts up, operates and performs essential PM duties on mills throughout the department on a daily basis.
Checks product to ensure product is according to specifications.
Manages daily production inventory. This may include:
Working with team members to routinely review production needs as listed on the computerized production system, and helps to ensure the team's production levels meet scheduled demand.
Alerting shift supervisor to any hindrances in meeting the production schedule.
Managing product inventory to increase inventory flow (turns).
Performs machine maintenance/and alert supervisor or maintenance mechanic as needed to keep the equipment running/operational.
Participates in process improvement initiatives. May work as a team with other Wire Mill Department employees on process improvement projects.
Runs, prints (if necessary), and understands the open order report in order to determine which wire orders need to be produced and establish the priority for daily production.
Minimum of a high school degree or the equivalent.
Must be able to safely and simultaneously manage and maintain multiple machines.
Must possess the ability to work effectively with others, in an independent production team environment.
Good oral communication skills.
Previous experience working in a manufacturing facility.
Previous experience using standard micrometers, or other similar measuring equipment.
Previous experience in an ISO-certified production environment.
Previous experience working with a computerized production scheduling system.
Previous experience as an operator/mechanic on production equipment.

We are currently seeking a Desktop Analyst to join our IT Customer Care team. This casual role will work on an as needed basis. Must be flexible with schedule - availability is required for any shift (day, evenings, overnights), including weekdays and weekends. There are two total open roles.
Responsible for the design, deployment, general use, administration, patching, auditing and retirement of standard HCMC IT hardware and software solutions. Also provides first level support to all users of HCMC IT services and is the primary, single point of contact as needed. Grinder - West Finish (2nd shift)
. Operate a stand grinder, swing grinder, pedestal grinder, hand-held, air-powered tools and other hand tools to remove fins, parting lines, gate and riser contacts ,and other irregularities from castings.
2.Perform visual inspection for scrap castings.

5.Participates in and performs needle, sponge and instrument counts as established in hospital policy.
6.Implements latex precautions as needed, protecting patients at risk with latex allergy/sensitivity from exposure to natural rubber by hospital policy and guidelines.
7.In collaboration with the surgical team, actively participates in the Universal Protocol Sign In, TIME OUT, and Sign Out for each procedure
