Summary:
Serves as a member of the front line production team. Responsible for various tasks that support the production of the high capacity commercial laundry plant in order to meet customer needs. The type of work performed could be related to the following: Dryer Operator, Wash Operator, Stain Washer, Sewing/Mending, Soil Sorting, as well as folding, commercial ironing, packing and distributing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintains flow of linen into the tunnel, washers, dryers, etc.
Pulls bags and/or processes other laundry activities in the designated order.
Loads linen into empty pockets in tunnel; continues to do so as pockets transfer.
Keeps pockets loaded correctly with proper load size; prevents overload.
Follows directions and safety precautions.
Maintains the production standards as determined per hour.
Notifies supervisor if frequent technical problems are impacting the ability to meet production standards.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Summary:
Performs laundry services including cleaning and distributing linens to clients, contributing to team efforts and professionally interacting with clients, customers, and team members.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Properly sorts, washes and dries linens following the approved laundry procedures.
Folds, counts and stacks linens following approved laundry procedures.
Collects soiled linens along with redistributing clean linens.
Transports supplies to include clean and soiled linen to the appropriate storage and collection areas.
Provides quality customer service to customers by providing one on one attention to the detail.
Routinely inspects linens for wear and tear, identifying worn and torn linens and following Standard Operating Procedure for damaged linens.

Job Summary
Under close supervision, washes, dries, presses and packs laundry for the hospital.
Sorts linen and uniforms determining whether each piece goes in the tumbler or mangler. Marks clean
laundry as necessary for return to various hospital departments.
Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:30pm, Plus weekends.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: A high school diploma or GED certificate preferred.
Experience: No previous work-related experience is needed for this occupation. Laundry service
experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Knowledge of clothing cleaning needs. Knowledge of laundry room
equipment. Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to wash, dry and pack laundry. Ability to walk and
stand for long periods of time. Ability to use judgment to determine cleaning needs.
