Job Description:
The District Sales Leader Designate role is designed as a 12+ month leadership training program. District Sales Leader Designates will receive a customized on-boarding plan to assimilate and develop the necessary skillset in preparation for a District Sales Leader position. The on-boarding plan includes learning the Frito Lay Route Sales System and gaining exposure to the key players and functions across the Region Business Team. The formalized training program for this position involves 4-6 months of route level work to learn the foundation of the business and develop an understanding of our Direct Store Delivery (DSD) network and supply chain. The job is in a physical work environment with varying length of work days/schedule.
Upon completion of the training program, the DSL-D will be promoted to a District Sales Leader. The DSL will have responsibility for all aspects of managing a sales district comprised of 10-25 Route Sales Representatives (RSR's). Each District Sales Leader leads a $5-15 Million dollar business. All District Sales Leaders are responsible for administrative and technical support, as well as facilitating information to direct reports. It is imperative that candidates have strong leadership skills, communication skills and thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing work environment.
Successfully complete all activities included in the Sales District Leader Designate training program
Successfully interact with customers (store management) and effectively sell in/execute sales programs and initiatives
Lead district meetings focused on a plan to achieve sales objectives and goals
Conduct one-with-one meetings and "work withs" with RSR's to discuss performance, selling and customer service skills
Coach RSR's to successfully sell against baseline and promotional opportunities
Collect and interpret statistical data utilizing PepsiCo specific applications
Partner with product supply team to create accurate forecasts based on promotions and historical performance to ensure product availability
Prepare and deliver sales presentations to customers as required
Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings and/ or weekends
Must be willing and able to lift up to 40 lbs. periodically
Qualifications/Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required
A minimum of 2 years managing employees
Previous experience as a Store Manager, Assistant Manager, or a Team Lead at major Store Chain preferred
Consumer packaged goods experience in a Direct Store Delivery environment
Highly motivated individual with excellent communication, negotiation, influencing, and follow up skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point)
Requires Department of Transportation (DOT) certification and successful Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) review during pre-onboarding process
Must be authorized to work in the United States

Definition
This is routine work in a variety of environments ranging from manual labor to semi-skilled work.
An employee in one of the above classes performs manual laboring tasks that may require skill in the use of small hand or power tools or operation of less complex types of power equipment.
Works as a member of a crew under close supervision or independently under general supervision. Work may require heavy physical exertion and may be performed under adverse weather conditions outdoors.
Characteristic Work
Shovels, spreads and rakes asphalt mix to proper thickness and grade on roadways. Assists in setting and resetting curbs.
Loosens and digs out areas with pneumatic tools for roadway repair. Digs excavations with a wide variety of tools. Cuts and assists in laying pipe.
Builds wooden forms for concrete. Mixes and rough finishes concrete. Assists in building, repairing, and digging up manholes and water or sewer inlets with various tools and power equipment.
Applies the proper amount of liquid patch to roadways by operating the controls of liquid patch spreader. Operates slag spreader and spreads slag by hand. Sets up barricades and lights in work zones or for emergencies.
Cuts grass with power mower. Assists skilled workers in a variety of maintenance tasks. Hauls personnel and materials to and from job sites in a pickup or small dump truck.
Installs recreation equipment. Cuts grass, rakes leaves, picks up debris, and performs a variety of other tasks to assist in the maintenance of parks or other City locations. Assists in planting trees and other landscaping duties.
Cuts back weeds, plants and brush. Performs other semi-skilled tasks. Performs related work as required.
Minimum Qualifications
Ability to read and write. A minimum of six months of paid experience in general laboring work. Requires a valid State of Ohio driver's license and may require possession of a valid State of Ohio commercial driver's license (CDL class and endorsements as required by division).
Basic knowledge of the methods, tools and equipment used in labor operations.
Ability to use small machines, hand and power tools, and less complex power equipment.
Ability to perform a variety of manual tasks.
Ability to understand and follow oral instructions. Ability to perform heavy manual labor for long periods of time, often under adverse weather conditions. List of essential functions available upon request.

Maintenance Worker
The work involves performing minor supervision and participating in the general maintenance and repair of County buildings and County sewar systems and appurtenances. Work is performed under the direct supervision of a higher ranking employee who makes work assignments and receives reprts for conformance with standards.

Supervises and participates in the general work of maintaining and repairing County buildings, equipment, grounds or sanitary sewar and its appurtenances; Participates in general repair work by laying out and scheduling work such as painting, replacement of non-working equipment, waxing floors, servicing lavatories and moving equipment, supplies or furnishings; Instructs workers, issues supplies and inspects work; Performs maintenance duties in a sewar district such as hand digging, laying and repairing of sewars, equipment and sludge beds, etc; Complies with various Occupational Safety and Health Administration laws and regulations, including reading and understanding Material Safety Data Sheets relating to hazardous materials and other substances; Assists in the operation of hydraulic flusher and/or rodding machine, T.V. and grouting equipment and drives vehicles required to perform sewer district maintenance work; Performs related to operation of closed circuit telespection and internal grouting systems. FULL PERFORMANCE KNOWLEDGES, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS: Good knowledge of sewars, plumbing, carpentry, electrical repairs, building cleaning procedures and/or related supplies and equipment that pertain to the actual position responsibilities and duties; good knowledge of the operation and maintenance of builing services; ability to read, write and understand the English language; ability to prepare simple reports and maintain records; ability to follow routine oral and written instructions; industry and dependability; physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Completion of elementary school and one of the following, either: A) Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma and two (2) years of building or sewer maintenance or repair, mechanical, general maintenance, or related experience, or:

Your daily responsibilities include
Repair and install electrical systems, including repairing heaters, light switches, outlets, wire panels, transformers, and light fixtures, etc.

Perform miscellaneous other maintenance tasks, including welding, painting, furniture repair, landscaping, small engine repair, etc.
Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment.
Listen for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunctions and discuss machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problems or repair machines.
Clean and lubricate shafts, bearing, gears and other parts of machinery.
Install and repair electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring and electrical components of machinery and equipment.
Lie out, assemble, install, and maintain pipe system and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. Repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
Repair and maintain physical structure of establishment.
Set up and operate machine tools such as lather, grinders, drills and milling machines to repair or fabricate machine parts, fixtures, and tools.
Operate cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or spin metal parts.
Handle all general maintenance needs relating to landing and off site offices.
Provide positive communication and use Red Carpet Training skills with every patron and co-worker.
Perform duties in a safe manner; report any potential safety hazards to management staff.
Perform any reasonable, temporarily assigned job duties outside the position's job description, where, in the Company's judgment, those duties are necessary in the interest of efficiency, productivity, or guest service.

DEFINITION
Under direct supervision, performs a variety of manual, semi-skilled and skilled tasks in the construction, maintenance, repair and operation of the City's streets, sidewalks, signs, sewers, storm drains, pump stations, parks, tot lots, medians, gardens, irrigation systems or municipal buildings. Tasks often require considerable physical strength and stamina and may be performed in inclement weather and/or potentially hazardous conditions.
Worker may be called back to work during emergencies. Performs related work as required.
CLASSIFICATION CHARACTERISTICS
Utility Maintenance Worker is the entry level to the following classification series: Building Maintenance Worker I/II, Collection System Maintenance Worker I/II, Groundskeeper/Gardener I/II, Street Maintenance Worker I/II, and Water Maintenance Worker I/II.
Candidates from the Utility Maintenance Worker Employment List may be appointed in any one of several City departments. They will initially be under close supervision, performing the least skilled and most repetitive tasks while learning to use and apply the methods, materials, tools and equipment involved. Incumbents normally advance to Level II after at least two years of successful experience and demonstrating proficiency for the Level II work.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES
Work assignments may be in any one of the maintenance area programs: building/facility operation and maintenance, water/wastewater system delivery and maintenance, parks, median and grounds maintenance, and streets and sewer maintenance. Sweeps rubbish and leaves from gutters; loads and unloads trucks in a variety of situations; excavates and fills trenches and ditches; does manual work in preparing surfaces for paving, mixing cement, and breaking up paved surfaces using such tools as shovel, rake, jackhammer, tampers, and tar kettle; does manual or the more routine work of laying pipe, backfilling, and installing water meters; acts as a helper to skilled craftsworkers assisting in the more routine aspects of carpentry, plumbing, heating, minor electrical and mechanical repair, and painting including street painting; does manual park work not requiring prior knowledge or skill in gardening.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of: The purpose, safe use and maintenance of hand tools and small power equipment.
General construction and maintenance methods, materials, and terminology. Safe working techniques and requirements.
Ability to: Safely and skillfully use hand tools, operate light mechanical equipment, and perform heavy manual labor.
Comprehend and follow oral and written instructions and safety warnings and information. Learn to perform more skilled tasks, such as producing manual and computer-generated reports and schedules and installation and maintenance of current job-related equipment or devices. Work independently.
Maintain an appropriate public service demeanor and positive customer service interactions. I: Perform sustained, strenuous manual labor; climb, lift, crawl, stoop and bend to reach work; and work outdoors in temperature extremes and inclement weather
Experience: One year, full-time, paid experience in construction, maintenance or other semi-skilled, physical work.
Education: Completion of the tenth grade. Graduation from high school or the equivalent is desirable and required to advance to Level II in the flexible classification series.
License: Possession of a valid Class C California Driver's License.

Street Maintenance Worker
JOB SUMMARY
Under direct supervision, the purpose of the position is to assist with streets and drainage maintenance work for the town. Employees in this class exercise appropriate safety precautions in operating assigned equipment to ensure personal, public, and personnel safety. Position is responsible working independently or as part of a work crew, depending on nature of assigned tasks. Performs related work as directed. The candidate must be highly motivated and strive for success by demonstrating Little Elm's Core Values of Integrity, Customer Service, Efficiency, and Innovation.
EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED; with six (6) months of previous experience that demonstrates ability to fulfill the physical requirements of the essential functions; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES
Must be bondable.
Must obtain a Class "A" Texas Commercial Driver's License within 6-months of date of hire.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Performs streets maintenance and repair work in both asphalt and concrete mediums.
Prepares for pouring concrete and laying asphalt, to include mixing by hand where applicable.
Prepares for work orders through loading tools and materials; cleans such after use.
Participates in traffic control activities.
Prepares assigned equipment for safe and efficient operating condition by inspecting prior to and after use.
Monitors vehicle fluid levels and refuels as needed; performs minor maintenance on vehicles and equipment, i.e., lubricating, cleaning.
Performs installation, maintenance and repair tasks on various structures, i.e., sidewalks, driveways, street signs, drainage pipe.
Utilizes various manual, gas, and hand held tools and equipment in maintenance and repair tasks, i.e., shovels, rakes, brooms, saws, hammers, wrenches.
Utilizes various vehicles and equipment in maintenance and repair tasks as needed, i.e., service trucks, front end loaders, compactors, and jack hammers.
Cleans/clears debris and refuse from work areas; installs grass or sod where applicable
