The Tier 2 Materials Program Leader will own proactive processes and the strategic roadmap to improve sub-tier supplier management. The role of Tier 2 Materials Program Leader will evaluate, streamline, mature and develop the existing Indirect Raw process to solidify process execution and expand the outcomes across the Sourcing organization.
Additionally, as the Tier 2 Materials Program Leader, Key responsibilities will include:
Develop process to best collect, analyze, and drive Tier 2 Management across the entire sourcing supply chain
Ensure tool robustness to match the process and improve source of supply at all levels of the value chain
Simplify and mature the existing Indirect Raw process and tools to ensure all supply risks are properly identified and being mitigated
Drive holistic approach to better address Tier 2 risk (e.g. commercial terms, new procurement strategies, etc.)
Own the functional strategy to improve supplier data gathering processes (engage Digital teams on data acquisition techniques, commercial model to implement and scale solutions)
Engage with cross commodities to implement & strengthen outcomes that addresses the critical needs of that commodity
Work together with different levels of business from PB, SPB and EB levels being able to influence at all levels
Champion proactive supplier delivery Tier 2 material metrics and participate in supplier performance reviews were required
Manage and execute all risks to prevent delinquent part reductions, get well plans, and overall health of the entire value chain
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Sourcing Initiatives, Manufacturing operations, Supply Chain management, Delivery / Fulfillment, or Sourcing
S&OP or Planning experience
Strategic Project Management experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Source Delivery, Manufacturing, or Sourcing

The RNEC provides Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Information Management (C4IM) Services, Cybersecurity, and Computer Network Defense to the tenants on the installation. The C4IM Services List defines Army baseline enterprise and mission information technology services provided and/or supported by the RNEC.
The RNEC supports multiple Major Army Commands with diverse missions in a multi-service environment. It defends the network while providing transparent integration and delivery of DoDIN-A information technology services and capabilities in support of battle command for all operating and generating forces assigned to APG.
