Die setters set, operate and repair tools, dies and distinct holding and operating devices that enable machine to create injection molded pars. They should have strong technical abilities working with metal and plastic materials and adhere to a high levels of safety precautions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Analyze produced parts to identify defects or errors in tooling, machine or material during a last piece process.
Maintain parts on dies and repair or replace if needed, polish and preparation of all in house tools and components, remove dies from machines.
Produce sample products and program machines and equipment with proper configuration to meet product specifications.
Select, install and adjust dies using a variety of tools and equipment. Overhead crane usage is required.
Use control devices or manually operate machines for production, may need to detail materials using hand tools.
Electrical wiring ability of hot runners and controllers.
Assigned task by direct supervisor or above, this will include plant maintenance, aiding in plant 5-S, painting.
Brainstorm and implement new ideas to improve set-up time and overall process.
Keep work area clean and orderly.
Follow the requirements of the Quality Policy, ISO/TS system, and procedures.
Follow all safety policies but not limited to PPE, Lockout/Tagout, machinery guards, safe lifting, etc.
Report any safety hazards to the Shift Superintendent or Management.
Report all accidents and/or near-misses whether they are major or minor in nature. ng, and other none die related task.
High school diploma, trade school and/or equivalent.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Our ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of processing experience in plastic injection molding. The mold setter is responsible for setting molds and starting presses within established process guidelines and will report to the Shift Supervisor.
Set mold into press and load process parameters as defined.
Produce first good product before operator hand off.
Proper removal, cleaning and storage of mold and all auxiliary equipment after the jobs are complete.
Ensure process characteristics of the work center are maintained throughout the job to

Mold Setter 2Nd Shift
The primary purpose of this position is to locate the proper mold for each molding assignment, install the molds onto plastic injection molding machines, set up the machines controls and troubleshoot and correct process problems.

The Technician prepares molds for production runs, sets up molds on the injection molding machines, troubleshoots machine and process problems, coordinates tool repair and maintenance. Contact Lens Asst/Optical Assistant Split
This is a split position where the associate will act as a liaison between between our customers and professional staff to provide maximum efficiency in accordance with standard operating procedures. Additionally associate will assist the Optometrist in the wear, fitting, and care of contact lenses and related items. Associate will work in either role depending on business needs.

Provide customers with accurate information regarding appointment scheduling and followup visits, glasses or contacts preparation, any insurance and/or third party benefit inquiries either in person or by telephone
Maintain accurate and consistent consignment of all lenses (daily wear, frequent replacement lenses, color enchances, opaque, etc.). Track inventory, sales, new stock, and any transfers or returns
Responsible for the maintenance of the Contact Lens Room including the planograms (merchandising) and sundry (solution) items by keeping shelves and displays stocked. Track expiration dates of all lenses and solution. Assure that the Contact Lens Room is always clean and organized
