Motor Grader Operator
The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for operating heavy equipment on a construction jobsite in a safe manner. Heavy equipment may include: front-end loaders, bulldozers, scrapers, blades, pavers, trimmers, mixers or compactors. The Heavy equipment operator must also complete prestart checks, assist with fluid checks and maintenance, securing the equipment, cleaning, and other duties as directed by the Foreman or Division Manager.
- Responsible for operating equipment in a safe and efficient manner according to company policy, as well as manufacturer’s guidelines.
- Responsible for performing daily maintenance & safety checks.
- Responsible for cleaning equipment as required.
- Responsible for making sure that equipment is secured at the end of the shift.
- May perform other duties as assigned by Foreman or Division Manager.
- Must be able to follow directions and operate equipment safely.
- Must have some mechanical ability/knowledge.
- Must have a working knowledge of construction jobsite activities.
- Must be able to climb, stoop, bend, and squat as required for various duties with the equipment.
- Must be able work outdoors in extreme temperatures, both hot and cold.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 60 lbs.
- Must adhere to safety requirements as outline in the Employee Handbook.
- Must be able to work in a team environment and assist co-workers and supervisors with other duties as required.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS:
Comply with all company safety policies.

Grader/Sorters are primarily responsible for grading and sorting incoming metal products according to factors such as appearance and quality to ensure correct processing and usage. Other responsibilities include general yard cleanup and other maintenance functions.
This is a physical job, so applicants must be able to frequently walk on uneven ground, handle and grasp materials, crouch, bend, reach, climb, twist, push, pull and lift/carry up to 50 pounds occasionally. Visual acuity is needed for close detail work. To ensure safety everyone's safety at work, applicants must be able to hear and communicate by speech.

Assist with repairs and maintenance as required at railroad.
Provide backup or assistance throughout the yard as needed or assigned.
Report all equipment deficiencies or malfunctions for maintenance or repair to the proper supervisor.
Candidates must have the ability to carry out instructions provided in written, oral, or diagrammatic form.
Ability to speak and understand English as a basic level required.
Ability to learn new tasks as assigned required.
Experience in a scrap yard preferred.

Linen Aide, Days
1.Receives, and unpacks incoming shipments. Reviews quantity and quality of materials received for conformity to requisition specifications.
2.Uses linen management software to track distribution of goods, and to ensure that established pars are maintained.
3.Fills departmental requisitions and stages/delivers materials on a scheduled basis.
4.Assumes responsibility for making suggestions regarding adjustments to par levels, and addition or deletion of items for customers. Responsible for maintenance of accurate inventory records for areas serviced.
5.Operates and understands computer-based programs as it relates to areas of responsibility, which includes the use of vendor applications. Uses and interprets all reports generated by the linen management system and answers questions from user departments.
6.Participates in all safety, security and infection control programs that are mandatory as well as those required and provided by the department
7.Demonstrates work practices consistent with CHI Health and department-specific safety, security and infection control policies.
8.Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.
Knowledge and Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Basic computer skills and one year inventory, distribution, or receiving experience preferred.

GENERAL SUMMARY/ OVERVIEW STATEMENT:
Following established hospital, Joint Commission (JC), DPH and department guidelines and procedures, ensures all linen items, including scrubs/uniforms are efficiently delivered to end-user according to schedule/need.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Receives and stores linen items at designated locations according to established schedules.
Assesses and fills inpatient exchange carts daily.
Ensures all standing orders are filled and ancillary areas are assessed and filled. Both types of orders should be subsequently staged for delivery.
Receives and fills all demand orders from established user-areas and stages for delivery and distribution.
Ensures exchange carts are delivered to inpatient floors according to schedule.
Answers the telephone and responds to all customer requests/inquiries.
Inspects, rejects and disposes of clean linen items as appropriate.
Fills Scrub Machine Dispensers and empties Soiled Scrub Machines in accordance to policy and schedule.
Performs other duties as assigned.
