Day shift (7am-7pm) Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
Day shift (7am-7pm) Thursday, Friday, Saturday
Night shift (7pm-7am) Sunday, Monday, Tuesday
Night shift (7pm-7am) Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
Must be willing to work Holidays and weekends as overtime requires
Operate offline and auxiliary binding/finishing/packaging equipment. Set up and adjusts machine and equipment for production runs. Clean, lubricate and maintain machine to ensure its optimum operation. May troubleshoot issues and submit requests for maintenance as needed. May coordinate the assignment of crewmembers and may provide training for new team members.

Requires knowledge of standard set ups, adjustments and operating characteristics of the equipment and skill to perform standard adjustments and operate the equipment. Ability to set up, operate, and perform basic adjustments to the equipment according to the individual job requirements, operating characteristics, and capabilities of the equipment. Typically, the adjustments performed at this level are routine and the need for such adjustments are readily apparent.

NASCAR Event Management seeks a highly motivated professional to become our next Part-Time Timing and Scoring Competition Technology Technician. Responsible for the complete setup and breakdown of our computerized timing and scoring system, as well as the collection, distribution and verification of scoring documentation. This may be a great opportunity for you if you have local track experience and basic racing knowledge. This position requires frequent lifting of heavy equipment and frequent weekend travel during the race season.
Primary Duties include the following:
Monitor multiple systems, maintain radio communication, and provide information as requested by the Chief Scorer or tower
Set up, install and connect Multi-Detection System to servers
Perform routine maintenance to ensure systems are installed and functioning properly
Repairs cables and other related equipment as needed
Troubleshoot and diagnose connectivity between NASCAR Technology Center (NTC) and Race Control
Monitor systems during testing, practice sessions, qualifying and races
Operate systems to provide the most accurate information to the end users
Maintain detailed and accurate records of situations, problems, repair items, etc., Route to the appropriate level or person to be handled as archived. Follow-up on submittals to ensure action is taken
Communicates and transfers information via email, internet and/or File Transfer Protocol (FTP) on a regular basis
Drive company vehicles as needed
High school diploma, general education degree (GED), or A.S. degree, plus two years of experience in information technology and telecommunications; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience in networking and computer technology
Experience using tools of the trade correctly and safely, including multi-meters, screwdrivers, wire cutters and soldering irons
Experience reading, interpreting and accurately following SOPs, flow charts and technical drawings or schematics
Valid driver's license
AMB electronic timing systems
Wired, RF and fiber optic cable
Experience with or ability to use more complicated electronic test equipment, test programs and specialty tools such as coaxial crimpers, phone plug crimpers, pin & de-pinning tools, etc.
