Mitigates loss to the credit union by proactively managing delinquent mortgage loans/accounts through prompt and efficient collection and recovery practices. This position has experience with multiple stages of delinquency and across multiple mortgage product types including bankruptcy and foreclosures. Responsibilities also include all collection related communication, making payment arrangements, loan modifications and recommendations for further action on accounts such as referral to a collection agency, deed-in-lieu or legal action.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Communicates with members whose mortgage loans are in default, including inbound and outbound collection calls, e-mail, letters and in-person contact. Responsible for handling complex delinquency situations, making payment arrangements, analyzing accounts, identifying solutions and recommending workouts/modifications or further action on accounts, such as referral to a collection agency, deed-in-lieu, legal action or foreclosure. Demonstrates judgment and discretion within the framework of all applicable regulations and policies.
Responsible for completing daily collection calls within designated queues and maintaining adequate notes for each delinquent account within the software system.
Responsible for processing and monitoring bankrupt accounts and ensuring compliance with federal bankruptcy laws.

The job description below reflects the requirements of a Station Servicer C position. Job duties and responsibilities will increase for Station Servicer B, A and Servicer. The selected candidate will be hired into the appropriate job title based on qualifications.
Participate in the construction, maintenance, rebuild, removal, operation, testing and inspection of energized or de-energized generation, transmission and distribution facilities. Work with existing Station Servicer in assigned area to inspect and maintain assigned station facilities with expectation to progress to Station Servicer in the assigned area.
Assist in responding to emergency call-outs on station trouble and coordinating prompt restoration of service to customers as required. The following list sets forth the principal duties required with the degree of supervision normally given.
