Perform level II liquid penetrant inspection including application of penetrants and developers and visible and/or fluorescent inspection to identify defects.
Perform cosmetic and investigative grinding as needed for test preparation and to determine seriousness of defects. Determine whether parts pass or fail inspection based on knowledge of defect seriousness and industry codes, standards, and customer specifications.
Prepare necessary documentation of inspection process.
Move parts by hand and using forklifts, hoists and other lifting equipment, to facilitate inspection.
Maintain Liquid Penetrant Level II certification and perform or assist in other NDT disciplines as needed.
Level II Liquid Penetrant Certification.
Able to follow written and verbal instruction with minimal supervision.
Able to lift and carry 50 lbs.
Math and language skills as normally attained through 4 years H.S. or equivalent.

Technical Service Representative Liquid Or Powder Paint Line
The Technical Service Representative/Coordinator is responsible for supporting sales by providing technical service activities related to coatings applications and formulation troubleshooting.
DESCRIPTION OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Respond to technical inquiries
- Documentation of customer visits and line audits
- Provide classroom and hands on painter training at customers
- Assist customers and support sales in general coatings and application knowledge
- Recognize sales opportunities when engaging customer
- Lead troubleshooting activities at customers and coordinate with sales and laboratory
- Evaluate new products to ensure quality
- Assist lab with testing and application evaluations
- Other duties as assigned
Assist with issues pertaining to the Powder and GI sales group
- High school diploma or equivalent plus additional specialized training
- Three to five years sales experience operating a liquid or powder paint line.
- Good math skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent computer skills
- Willing to work in a team environment
- Ability to receive and provide instructions in a positive manner
- Ability to travel 75% of time
