CNC Machine Operator
The CNC Operator III with the help from a CNC Machinist I & II will produce machined parts by operating mills and/or lathes; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; and maintaining the equipment by performing the following duties.
With assistance will run machine parts by using work orders, blueprints, materials, and specifications.
With assistance will interpret the job instructions including a tool list, job routing, part drawings and in-process quality instructions.
With assistance will locate the appropriate tool holders, tools and fixtures and assist in loading them into the machine.
With assistance will load the CNC program into the machine control including zero and reference points and assist in entering tool length and offsets.
With assistance will ensure that the work piece is properly lubricated and cooled.
With assistance will run the program; assist in taking measurements and assist in making all adjustments necessary to make a finished part.
With assistance will assist in the inspection of the first run piece and assist in checking succeeding pieces for conformance to specifications.
Keeps area clean according to 5S standards.
Follows all safety rules as set by the company.
A high school diploma or general education diploma (GED) is required.
Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints.
Basic working knowledge of CNC lathe and mill machine controls.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as work orders.

Setup and operate the machine in a consistent manner as instructed. In conjunction with this, the operator has theresponsibility to maintain the procedures with regard to operation of themachine unless a change is approved and properly recorded.
Mountthe correct size film on the side. Theweight of the film is forty-five pound minimum and eighty pound maximum.
Directthe activities of the helper or helpers assigned to the machine to attain theproduction goals.
Be sure the helper is stacking per the Pallet StackingProcedure.
Maintain a clean work area.
The operator or helper picks up bundle from the 28"high conveyor and places it on the pallet per stacking procedure to a maximumheight of 65". Pallet is 5"off floor, and weighs about 50 pounds.
Operatoris responsible for the quality of the product with regard to properpolyethylene widths, sealing, packaging, labeling, and stacking.
Assurethat pallet loads are accurately counted and entered onto the productionreport, and the pallet is properly tagged to include card number, count perpallet, board number, die number, product size, stock number, bundle count, operator'sname, date, shift, and helper's name.
Operatethe machine in a safe manner.
Supply film area must be kept clean of cardboard,plastic, and empty pallets.
Clean work station top with Pledge or equal.
Conveyer rollers must be kept clean of plastic buildup.
Completely clean work area before leaving.
Check Safety switches at the start of the shift.
Blow off machine area.
Keep wax on the table top.
Wear proper back supports when lifting and stacking asneeded.

Must have previous CNC machine operating experience where you had to program or enter job specs into a computer terminal!
Starting Pay Rate: Up to $14/hour Depending on experience
Third shift works Sunday-Thursday 7:30pm to 6am; Friday 6pm to 11pm (48 to 53 hours/week).
