Ammunition Loading Supervisor
General Summary The Ammunition Supervisor provides direct, daily leadership to employees in his/her area, focusing on core operational values of safety, quality, cost management and conformance to production schedules to satisfy customer requirements. Responsible for all ammunition production, ensuring compliance to production commitments, training employees, completing reports on progress, materials inventory management and manufacturing costs.
Experienced and proficient in the setup, operation, and maintenance of all equipment used in the ammunition loading area. Principal Duties and Accountabilities (*Essential Functions) Establish strategic direction which supports company goals throughout their department Provide leadership and drive continual improvements in areas such as but not limited to safety, process reliability, product quality productivity, manufacturing costs, and schedule performance Complete daily Layered Process Audits (LPA’s) and weekly GEMBA audits Ensure effective Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Board meetings are being held to drive continual improvement in Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, 5S and Moral. Project Supervisor (Data Loading Supervisor)
Oversee a team of data loaders to ensure productions are completed accurately and on-time on a daily basis. Monitor real-time work load balance of loaders to maintain even distribution of assignments. Develop short- and long-term planning on personnel, training, and operational issues in collaboration with Project Manager.
Create and regularly update a repository of Standard Operating Procedure manuals regarding loading policies, step-by-step how-to instruction, and troubleshooting common problems. Perform same troubleshooting duties as Data Loading Specialist as well as EDD, bates capturing, image overlays, OCR, CSV normalization and merges through Recommind and Concordance. Monitor high priority requests and exceptions to normal workflow.
Review and validate the integrity and correctness of delimited data. Provide oversight and training to staff, including remedial training when required. Carry out personnel administrative tasks such as staff quarterly goals and verifying employee timesheets.
Domain knowledge of litigation support, electronic document discovery processing and forms of production. Communicate with client and other CACI groups on-site on a daily basis to inform, discuss and offer solutions regarding problematic productions. Requires frequent contact with Government COR, case managers, attorneys, client agency staff, etc., as well as with other CACI groups.
At least seven years of professional experience with five years of progressively more responsible experience on major litigation support projects, including at least one year of supervisory experience, including proven capabilities and communication skills to successfully interact with clients and attorneys.
Demonstrated ability to oversee and coordinate numerous complex and time-critical litigation support activities simultaneously. Requires in-depth knowledge of litigation support, excellent writing skills and excellent oral communication skills.
Requires hands-on familiarity with the Government's office and network environment, including but not limited to, data processing environments, including office automation networks, PC-based databases and other applications, and internet and server-based databases and other applications, such as Recommind, Concordance, Relativity, LAW, iConect etc. Perl / VB Scripting experience or some programming background is a preferred.
