Tank Truck Loading Operator
You will be responsible for loading and unloading tank trucks, handling shipping and receiving paperwork, general maintenance of the equipment and complying with the safety regulations. You be working a 12 hour (Day time only) shift.
The ideal candidate must have a valid driver's license, a High School Diploma/GED and meet physical requirements mentioned below. Employment will be contingent on successfully passing the background check and a hair follicle drug test. CDL with tanker endorsement and experience handling hazardous materials is preferred but not required.
- Works with technicians on the tank truck loading schedule.
- Communicates with the truck drivers on the process and the truck spotting and connections.
- Handles shipping paperwork for truck loading and bills of lading.
- Connects loading hoses to tank trucks for hazardous materials following specific procedures.
- Operates specific process controls and valving, specific to the tank truck loading operation.
- Visually inspects tank truck to be involved in the upcoming transfer in order to ensure that it is mechanically sound and there is no defective equipment before loading or unloading.
- Disconnects hose, inspect for any leaks and complete required paperwork prior to releasing the railcar/truck.
- Wears all protective clothing and equipment specific to the truck and process being loaded.
- Communicates with facility supervisor on any problems as they occur.
- Completes any other duties that may be assigned in order to complete the job.
- Must have the ability to speak, write, read, hear and have good vision.
- Mush have the ability to read and understand training and paperwork specific to the operations.
- Must be able to work outside in various environmental conditions which at times including extreme heat or extreme cold.
- Must be able to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) without restriction and pass any medical examination associated with the use of said PPE.
- Lift 50 pounds floor to waist, push and pull 50 pounds horizontally, and carry 20 pounds while walking, climb stairs and ladders, extend arms through normal range of motion while standing and squatting.

Shift starts at 3:00p.m. GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: The Loading Trainee assist in the counts, measures, or weighs articles to verify contents for shipments against bills of lading, invoices, or storage receipts by performing the following duties:
Load product onto trailers after pallet is verified, counted and wrapped. The Loader is responsible for the safety of the outbound loads. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
