We are currently seeking a Log Loader Operator to join our team.
Essential Functions
Operate a Log Loader.
Plans, assigns, directs, checks, and coordinates work.
Responsible for quality and quantity of production.
Performs all aspects of labor as necessary to keep crew operation flowing.
Ensures the overall safety, quality and production requirements of the crew are met.
Cleans up and disposes of all debris.
Promotes and maintains good customer and public relations through the effective accomplishment of assigned work and the appropriate behavior of employees on the crew.
Safeguards employees and the public from hazards in and around work area.
Exposed to traffic.
Sets up barriers, warning signs, flags, markers, etc. to protect employees and public.
Must be able to grip and turn traffic control sign frequently.
Trains new personnel.
Work in all temperatures and will be exposed to nature i.e., irritating plants and biting or stinging insects.
Keeps informed on new equipment, specifications, standard practices, operating procedures, and customer and company employee relations policies and practices.
Works near energized parts or equipment.
Works around excessive noise from machines, jackhammers, gas drills and other equipment with proper hearing protection.
Minimum Requirements
Due to the inherently dangerous nature of the industry and requirements to work with or around hazardous equipment, employees must be able to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time.
Must be able to wear necessary PPE as necessary.
Must be able to enter and exit a vehicle numerous times a day.
Must be able to withstand exposure to all kinds of weather while completing work assignments, i.e., rain, heat, sun, cold.
Must have good vision and be attentive. Must have endurance necessary to perform these duties throughout a standard eight or ten hour day. Must be able to work long hours and overtime during emergencies (including holidays, weekends, etc. Subject to call out work.
Must have knowledge of heavy equipment.
Must have sufficient eyesight to judge distances and coordination to get and use the appropriate equipment and tools.
Must be able to operate and service all required tools and equipment.
Must be able to read and comprehend written and verbal job instructions/information.
Must be able to verbally communicate with other crew members and fully understand instructions and information.
Must be familiar with electrical hazards.
Must have transportation to and from the show up location.

Job Description:
JOB SUMMARY
The main purpose of this Log's position is to audit the drivers' hours of service records and take appropriate action. Answer questions and council the drivers on their hours of service and the paperless log system.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
The job functions listed below represent the essential job duties and responsibilities of the above-listed position.
- Provide customer service to drivers calling in/in person with questions regarding logs.
Identify drivers' needs and provide immediate feedback. Able to communicate any problems appropriately.
Research drivers' requests to make log corrections through the computer system. Verify validity through the computer system and update accordingly. Respond back to driver on all researched corrections whether valid or not.
Work the various audit reports by using the computer system screens. Using the reports, research for violation of the hours of service regulations and determine disciplinary action. Handle audit calls and carry out disciplinary action. In addition, ensure the computer system has been properly updated.
Monitor drivers with satellite problems as well as shag drivers that would be on paper logs or a daily report. Follow-up with driver and fleet manager if needed regarding paperwork. Review paperwork for hours of service
violations and document any found.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school graduate or equivalent experience.
One to two years log experience preferred.
Six months to one year PC experience in a Windows environment preferred.

SUMMARY
To provide regulatory compliance service to the owner operators of Landstar, by ensuring total compliance with state, federal and Landstar regulatory policy. Provide office clerical assistance.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Educate and train operators on the use of an electronic logging device.
Must troubleshoot and assist operators with electronic logging device malfunctions.
Educate and counsel operators, agents, and/or contractors on Hours of Service regulations and how to stay compliant
Verify log violations
Perform verification audits on operators' logs.

Analyze the modification requirements for specific aircraft or components and develop the Statement of Work / Contractor Work Package (SoW) in a timely manner. Typical SoWs contain, but are not limited to, engineering change proposals (ECP), delivery orders (DO), concurrency modifications, change requests (CR), and software updates applicable to (3) F-35 variants.
Details the requirements for technical instructions, resource and materiel needed to complete the modification activity. Coordinates with program and kit management, supply support, engineering, site contractor personnel, and government customer personnel as required. Validates the supportability of tasked work and reporting any anomalies or queries preventing the timely completion of the tasked work into the wider team for resolution.
Integrates over and above activities such as unscheduled maintenance, phase maintenance, time changes, forced retrofits, and inspection requirements for depot and operational sites into the SOW as agreed by the program stakeholders.
Reviews and reports on the effectiveness of the SoW, Pre-Input and Post-Output Review Meeting (PIRM&PORM) processes, modification task performance and additional / emergent work requirements across all responsible maintenance locations. Ensures any trends are identified and escalated, as appropriate.

Eng Sr - Log
This task is for the F-35 Sustainment Supply Mod Kit Management Team to perform Management of Mod Kits and Turnaround Program tasks for successful mod kit execution including ordering and managing procurement, assembly, and delivery of kits upon authorization to requirement defined in the Sustainment CY18 annualized contract.
1.) Prepare TCTD Mod Kit order material for Kit Order Status, kit availability, re-worked kit availability to support F-35 Depot Flow Plan and Contractor Field Teams (CFT) for aircraft modifications.
2.) Work aircraft induction changes or tail number swaps, turnaround asset status by Type Version Effectively (TVE) and kit availability for accelerations to ensure F-35 Customer's requirements are met.
3.) Release SAP Sales Orders and Independent Requirements in SAP for mod kit materials and other parts required for TCTD modifications.
4.) Provide weekly part delivery order status and metric reports to Supply Integration Team.
5.) Report issues regarding kit part shortages to Supply Integration Team.
6.) Participate in the continuing development of the parts list and its release through the program.
7.) Ensure planning is cognizant of the Mod Kit Parts List (MKPL) changes during the program.
8.) Monitor engineering's design development to update the Kit configuration of parts on order.
9.) Interface with material management to verify purchase order data, i.e. delivery schedule information. Work with Buyers and Suppliers to mitigate schedule issues and expedite LRU repairs and deliveries.
10.) Coordinate with Item Analysts to arrange short term loans and repayment schedules of parts required to support modification efforts.
11.) Approve and coordinate the accumulation and delivery of modification kits including LRUs, parts and materials to support contract schedules.
12.) Coordinate the disposition and movement of PME removed from ongoing mod efforts at depots and field team locations. Coordinate LRU firmware turn around modifications and repairs.
13.) Monitor and report weekly part delivery status and metrics to ensure accurate and timely responses are provided to the Supply Integration Team.
14.) Support program management and business management in documenting contract completion by providing kit delivery information and reports as required.

Plans, coordinates, and/or performs all support enqineering assignments embodying design approved modifications to aircraft, components, and field or shop equipment performed outside of Depot locations within the European and Australian regions. Identifies modification project requirements and develops integrated embodiment plans to meet the required safety, regulatory, cost, quality, and schedule requirements defined by program stakeholders.
Rallies and aligns all support requirements, engineering, parts/kits, touch labor, and tools on behalf of the team(s) deployed to field locations. Reviews and evaluates completion of modification efforts to ensure any issues affecting airworthiness are documented and effectively addressed with the support of the stakeholders within the program/community. Manages the scope of work in conjunction with the Technical Lead to ensure tasked work is effectively completed and documented.
Reviews and reports on the effectiveness of maintenance tasks performed and provides feedback to the wider team for continuous improvement. Conveys complex and difficult concepts, solutions, and evolutions in a way that is easy to comprehend and assimilate.
This role will hold supervisory/management responsibility for approximately 8 direct reports.
