Job Description:
Grader/Sorters are primarily responsible for grading and sorting incoming metal products according to factors such as appearance and quality to ensure correct processing and usage. Other responsibilities include general yard cleanup and other maintenance functions.
This is a physical job, so applicants must be able to frequently walk on uneven ground, handle and grasp materials, crouch, bend, reach, climb, twist, push, pull and lift/carry up to 50 pounds occasionally. Visual acuity is needed for close detail work. To ensure safety everyone's safety at work, applicants must be able to hear and communicate by speech.
Required Skills
Environmental and Health & Safety (H&S)
Strictly adheres to all Metals Recycling Business Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.
Provides a safe environment for all employees, customers and visitors.
Operational Performance & Best Business Practices
General clean up and yard maintenance including but not limited to digging, sweeping, maintenance of weeds and brush, and repaid of blacktop.
Basic sorting of scrap, as well as metal and debris in preparation processing.
Greasing and general cleanup at the shear and/or shredder.
Assist with repairs and maintenance as required at railroad.
Provide backup or assistance throughout the yard as needed or assigned.
Report all equipment deficiencies or malfunctions for maintenance or repair to the proper supervisor.
Required Experience
Candidates must have the ability to carry out instructions provided in written, oral, or diagrammatic form.
Ability to speak and understand English as a basic level required.
Ability to learn new tasks as assigned required.
Experience in a scrap yard preferred.
This position requires possession of a valid driver's license and the ability to drive an automobile.

Position Summary:
Guest Service Agents are the first line of communication for guests. The front desk is the hub of all communication for the property. Guest Service Agents establish a welcoming atmosphere from the minute a guest arrives at Log Cabin Resort. GSA's are attentive and always willing to answer questions, resolve guest issues, communicate guest needs to other departments, and reserve rooms and tour activities on the property management system. GSA's should be highly knowledgeable about the property and surrounding areas. This position requires individuals with a high attention to detail, a strong dedication to customer service, and a positive and friendly attitude. Essential Functions:
Greet all guests upon arrival at the Front Desk
Check guests in and out
Program keys and make key packets
Confirm reservations for rooms, tours and activities
Sell and make reservations for rooms, tours and activities
Handle cash, traveler's checks and credit cards in a safe and accurate manner
Must be proficient in counting money, providing guests with change whenever needed
When required must provide designated employees with working banks, taking care of all currency needs for the day
Must ensure daily sales from each department go into the safe, so that they can be safely taken to the accounting department
Hand out safety deposit boxes to guests
Log wakeup calls and communicate messages to guests
Ensure a clean and pleasant atmosphere at Front desk and lobby areas at all times
Ensure maintenance, walk-ins and upgrade logs are completed
Run correct occupancy and emergency reports
Effectively communicate with guests, employees, tour directors and vendors to ensure all guests receive prompt and courteous service
Take charge when upper management is unavailable and unforeseen complications (bad weather, cancellations, etc. arise)
Maintain positive attitude in high stress situations
Go the extra mile and follow through to ensure guest satisfaction
Must be able to work with diverse populations in a supportive and positive manner
Diplomatically handle guest complaints – always be polite and maintain a professional manner
Effectively interpret and disseminate information in group and individual settings
Must have the ability to speak clearly and confidently in front of groups of up to approximately 80 people
Expedite tour buses (where applicable)
Must be flexible and willing to work a varied schedule
Learn and use Springer Miller property management system and Microsoft Office programs
Use basic office equipment
Prepare for next day arrivals
Know and comply with all company policies and procedures regarding safety, security, emergencies and energy
Report to work on time and in complete uniform

We are looking for someone specializing as a Log Editor in a fast paced Broadcast Traffic environment. The Log Editor is responsible for managing commercial advertisement inventory through a variation of log editing and preempting, communicating inventory oversell and availability, as well as working closely with Sales and Traffic Management daily to maximize inventory and revenue potential.
This position is for a Monday through Friday, it is help in 3 different shifts: 9:00- 5:30PM OR 10:00 AM - 7:00PM OR 12:00- 8:00PM. Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Verify commercial logs for accurate programming information, commercial content, product separation, advertiser separation, and extensive editing for on-air broadcast
Lead and effectively manage all advertising material to maximize inventory and revenue potential
Provide assistance as needed for all processes related to programming, generating sales reports, and working advanced inventory within established time parameters
Communicate inventory availability or programming conflicts to stations daily
Effectively work with other team members and managers in a professional manner
Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
You must be computer literate, detail-oriented, dedicated and dependable
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment is essential
Excellent communication and organizational skills are also a must
Regular attendance required
Ability to work overtime and varying hours when required including weekends if necessary
Ideal Candidate:
Experience with Wide Orbit or OSi preferred
Broadcast TV or radio experience is a plus but we will train the right candidate

SUMMARY: Inspects grain and performs laboratory tests to determine physical characteristics for such purposes as quality and quality control. Attends vessel, barge or container loadings to include sampling, hold inspections, daily reporting, photographs and other duties specific to each shipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Demonstrates knowledge of all grain types in the area and serves as a resource to Lab Manager.
Determines grading factors such as dockage, heat damage, total damage, foreign material shrunken and broken kernels, types of grain, splits and other test as required and as determined by the USDA-FGIS regulations. Assists in testing materials for moisture, test weight per bushel, protein analysis, aflastoxin, falling numbers, sedimentations, wet gluten, and dividing of sample into prescribed portions.
Records test results on standardized forms.
Check vessel cargo holds and hatches for cleanliness
Supervision of weighing during loading operations
Visual inspection of goods condition during loading operations
Check cargo condition during loading operations
Drawing of samples for analysis purposes
Daily information of loading progress including detailed time log and photographs
Report all discrepancies noted and file letter of protest if needed
Witness the fumigation and know the amount and type of fumigation used
Sealing of hatches at berth
Other Duties:
Sample retain management as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and one to three years experience in the agriculture field. Must be proficient in knowledge of grain types.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in the standardized situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Driver's License, TWIC Card and Federal Warehouse license required.

Under the close supervision of a designated lead person or supervisor, as well as operating within established guidelines and procedures, the incumbent in this position works in a variety of field settings with regular and frequent oversight. Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
1.Select and Test Samples of Various Commodities
- 75%
Follow established protocols to select representative samples of fruits, nuts and vegetables to be inspected.
Prepare samples for titration (sugar/acid ratio) testing and pressure testing to determine degree of ripeness.
Examine the quality, size and/or condition of selected samples using state, federal or industry standards.
2.Perform data entry activities and maintain Records

- Maintain daily reports of work completed, i.e. inspection note sheets, inspector's Daily Report.
Skills/Requirements
Duties for the job are performed inside or outside of buildings. Weather, temperature, lighting and noise levels may constantly vary. Terrain may vary from smooth and stable to irregular and unstable. The incumbent may regularly work with or around machinery or motorized equipment, work in a noisy environment and be exposed to dust, pollen, moisture and temperature extremes. Driving a vehicle to assigned work locations throughout the workday, is required.
The incumbent must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships and be able to get along with others; work well under pressure; and, work cooperatively with others.
