Atlas Van Lines is seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and dynamic candidate to join our Fleet Registration/Safety team! This position is responsible for ensuring driver logs comply with Department of Transportation and Atlas regulations. The Log Coordinator's duties include the following:
Identifying logs and fuel receipts received, checking for violations and errors
Sending letters to agents requesting corrections and issues violation points
Opening mail and sending inspection forms to agents
Scanning daily logs and inspection reports
Receiving, reviewing, and updating inspection reports
Ensuring equipment is in compliance with the bi-annual inspections
Assisting in instructing drivers on compliance and log issues
Employment Type & Hours: This full-time position will consist of 40 hours per week. Hours fall between 8:00am and 5:00pm, M-F. Possible overtime during peak season.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Reviews paper and electronic logs for compliance with regards to DOT
hours of service regulations.
Conduct daily log audits to identify false logs and initiate corrective
Maintains computer systems and files related to log compliance,
including various reports and spreadsheets.
Prepares appropriate documentation for driver files.
Provides excellent customer service to drivers and internal partners on
Identifies and troubleshoots driver log issues.
Implements corrective and/or disciplinary action as needed.
Conducts log counseling and answers questions related to compliance

High School diploma
Transportation industry experience preferred
1-2 years of log experience a plus
Knowledge of Department of Transportation compliance regulations.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and web applications. Prefer

Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on heavy equipment used in log yard for loading and unloading.

FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operate a laser marker to make identification data on products prior to shipment.
Program and set up machine; operate machine to check program for accuracy prior to using.
Figure x-y coordinates to properly position parts for correct identification location. As necessary, make up fixtures to hold parts to be marked.
Make up rubber stamps as substitute for laser marking as requested. Use vibratool to mark metal tags for attachment to castings as required.
Detect faulty operations, defective material and report these and any unusual conditions to proper supervision.
Follow prescribed safety regulations. Maintain clean and orderly work areas.

Eng II - Log
The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting F-35 Program Sustainment Data Product Integration & Delivery (SDP I&D) and Sustainment Support activities within the Data Quality & Integration Management (DQIM) team.
Will perform Sustainment Data Product (SDP) management, research/analysis, processing, and handling data exchanges between Program Stakeholders and Systems, Suppliers, Teammates, Propulsion System Contractors, Internal Data Authors and Operational Sites.
Specific tasks include, but are not limited to:
1.Collaborate with Systems and Software Engineers during initial capability standup, while transitioning to responsibility as DQIM's technical authority for ALIS on Flight Line and Factory Floor.
2.Provide technical support of the BAE Systems team (specifically the ejection seat) of software, systems, and logistics engineers to support the customer's data quality and configuration management objectives.

Based on customer requirements, follow directions on blueprints, operation sheets, set-up sheets, etc. and mark parts using dotpeen, vibropeen or electroetch marking instruments. Ink marking or ink stamping also performed to customer requirements. For larger, heavier parts, handheld dotpeen machine is used.
Inspect parts to ensure marking meets customer requirements per blueprint, operation sheets, or set-up sheets. Travelers and Inspection Method Sheets (IMS) should be referenced.
Inspect parts for visual defects and red marks left behind by previous inspector. Red marks indicate that a defect had been spotted, but was corrected and should therefore be removed.
Make stencils for the marking equipment. Stencils are typically used only 3-4 times before discarding.
Maintain log books as required by customer and Barnes Aerospace. Log books contain information such as order numbers, serial numbers, dates parts are marked, etc.
Learn and adhere to required safety standards and procedures.
Maintain a clean work area.
