Operating vehicle safely within UNFI guidelines minimizing accidents, traffic violations, and complaints from the public
Reporting any accident immediately to the Transportation Manager/Department
Keeping vehicles well maintained, safe, and secure; reporting any defects promptly using DCVR form
Picking up supplies and back hauls from vendors while completing related paperwork
Addressing and resolving customer problems as appropriate

Be responsible for receiving, sorting, storing, preserving (value of), and feeding at the Kalispell complex

Oversee log scaling and log inventory functions
Manage all storm water runoff at the Kalispell complex and hauls off site construction debris and wood waste generated
Manage scale house tasks to include weighing chip trucks, log trucks, gravel trucks, plywood/lumber trucks and firewood trucks using computerized scale
Operate log yard equipment, such as such as log sorter (610 prentice, 324 Cat, 322 Cat), D7 dozer (966 Cat, 988 Cat), dump truck, road grader, and water truck
Tasks performed involve working with equipment and material that require familiarity with formal safety procedures and the following of these procedures in order to maintain the safety of the work environment

As a GBFB driver you are responsible for delivering food to agencies and picking up food from suppliers. GBFB drivers actively load and unload their vehicles and have extensive internal and on-site interaction with agencies, suppliers, volunteers, and clients. The daily routes include multiple stops primarily intrastate.
