Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse (Rn), FT
The Cath Lab RN oversees and directs the care of the cardiac patient. The Cath Lab RN is responsible for the care of cardiac cath patients.
Serves as primary nurse leading the collaboration of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Oversees and directs the care of assistive personnel, maintaining final accountability for the care given to assigned patients. When the need arises, will perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse; BLS & ACLS – Healthcare provider required.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
One-year experience in acute care preferred.

GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Contributes to the company's mission, vision, and values by maintaining facility's medical records and ensuring completeness and accuracy of files.
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Performs collection, processing, filing, maintenance, storage, retrieval, and distribution of medical records according to facility policies and procedures.
Collects and files in medical record all laboratory, pathology, electrocardiogram, and x-ray reports received prior to/post surgery.
Handles collection, response, and final filing in medical record of all appropriate correspondence.
Arranges all chart forms, correspondence reports (e.g., operative, lab, electrocardiogram, x-ray, pathology, etc.) in appropriate order per facility policy/procedures.
Maintains and controls the release of information to authorized persons only.
Adheres to medico-legal requirements when answering correspondence and inquiries.
Marks and obtains all necessary signatures to complete chart, including contacting physicians' offices regarding necessary signatures/reports.
Obtains all missing chart contents needed to complete medical record.
Adheres to established procedures for cross-referencing and indexing medical records.
Institutes and maintains a check-out and return system for medical records.
Arranges for confidential, safe off-site storing/microfilming of medical records per facility policies/procedures, if applicable.
Arranges for appropriate disposal of medical records per facility policies/procedures, if applicable.
Services as liaison between surgery center and transcription company, as per facility practice.
- Minimum (1) year of experience in a medical office setting highly preferred. (i.e. ambulatory surgery center, hospital, doctors office) preferred.
- BLS may be required as per facility standard.

Trauma & Neuro Sciences – Registered Nurse (RN):
The RN Neuro Trauma position, under the supervision Charge Nurse, appropriately coordinates and supervises patient care as provided by the patient care team. This care includes conducting initial and ongoing assessment of the patient and family, development of a family centered patient care plan and care path, family centered patient teaching, the identification of and correction of variances from the patient care path and the facilitation of discharge planning.

Respiratory Practitioner II (Days)
Performs assessment and therapeutic modalities for infant, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients as ordered or directed by a physician. Monitors environmental control systems, patients on mechanical ventilation, Bipap, CPAP, and various oxygen support systems.
Responsible for maintaining secure and patent patient airway to include performing nasal, nasotracheal, endotracheal and oral suctioning, Pulmonary function testing, blood gas analysis, nebulized medication therapy, chest physiotherapy, and oxygen therapy delivery in various modalities. Also performs EKGs. Recognizes life threatening situations and initiates appropriate response.
Provides Bag/value/mask ventilation, and other accepted treatments to maintain a patent airway. Recognizes medical problems and reports/documents problems to physician in a timely manner. Administers diagnostic testing procedures to determine the extent of patient's impairment and appropriateness of treatment and ventilation parameters.
In addition to the performance of all routine respiratory procedures, the Respiratory Practitioner will be responsible for special procedures, within his/her scope of practice, maintaining and improving clinical competence, practicing universal precautions, maintaining and cleaning equipment, and performing other duties as deemed necessary. Understands pharmacological indications, dosages and response to adverse drug reactions. Provides education to patients, families, physician, nursing and other members of the health care team.
