Controls wave-soldering machine or system to solder electronic components onto printed circuit boards, according to processing specifications: Reads production schedules and operations manuals and receives verbal instructions regarding sequential start up and operation of wave-soldering machine or system.
Moves controls to activate machine or equipment, such as preheater, lead wire cutter, wave-soldering units, and conveyors.
Adjusts controls of machines to regulate operating speed and temperature and height of flux, wax, and solder waves.
Adjusts dimensions of conveyor pallets and rails used to hold and transport PCB's through wave-soldering process, using precision instruments and hand tools.
Places loaded master pallet and production pallets on conveyor line of wave soldering machine or system and monitors pallets moving through process to verify that timing, temperatures, and dimensions are set according to standards.
Must be able to read instructions and identify standard SMT components
Observes heat-sensitive color marks or strips placed on PCB's to verify boards have been preheated to specified temperatures.
Observes meters, gauges, and indicator lights to ensure that soldering of PCB's conforms to processing standards.
Examines samples of soldered boards to detect substandard soldering.
Discusses quality of soldering with supervisor and adjusts controls according to instructions.
Cleans parts and interiors of machines and replenishes fluids in machines and equipment.
Performs preventive maintenance on machines and equipment, using hand tools.
May return substandard boards to workers for repair.
May feed or off bear boards or pallets to or from conveyor system.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment where some overtime may be required.
Must be able to sit for long periods of time and focus on tedious tasks.
Must have basic computer skills and have the ability to use several windows based programs as part of your daily routine.
Must have a minimum of 3 year of experience in a similar position and have above average surface mount and fine pitch soldering skills.
Ability to work under a microscope for long periods of time to perform inspection / solder repair.
Must be able to read and interpret assembly drawings.
Strong communication and organizational skills and ability to work in a team oriented environment.
Experience working in a LEAN Manufacturing environment

Our Precision Components division is looking for an Assembler to assemble aircraft component parts following operation sheets & blueprints using a variety of small hand tools and machinery.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Regular and predictable attendance.
Ability to read and write English at a functional level.
Measures parts to determine specified tolerance using O.D. micrometers, vernier calipers, I.D. /O.D. gages and depth micrometers.
Files and buffs part to fit.
Drills, taps, reams, countersinks, and spotfaces holes in parts using lathes and bridgeports.
Positions and aligns parts.
Bolts, screws, and rivets parts together.
Disassembles and replaces parts as required.
Laps and hones internal cylindrical surfaces.
Cleans and lubricates parts and assemblies.
Marks identifying information on parts.
Lifts work pieces and positions and secures it on machine table or in holding fixtures.
Stops machine after trial run to inspect work piece to ensure conformance to operation sheets and blueprints.

The Electro-Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling and/or testing components using tools and fixtures and working from manufacturing documentation. This is a first shift position.

The Crate Assembler assists in the construction of all crates for machines produced in Mettler Toledo Product Inspection. This position works under strict supervision and direction of the Crate Shop Lead.

Able to build bases and walls for any type of machine
