Under the direction of the Building Services Area Supervisor, this position is responsible for completing routine service maintenance & the repair of Centrifugal chillers and Screw chillers and all related mechanical equipment in central plants.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Schedule routine maintenance for assigned customer(s) in accordance with ACCOs approved internal procedures.
Complete routine and dispatched assignments in a timely, efficient manner each maintenance period or within promised timeframes, and maintain contact with office dispatch before, during, and prior to close of ACCO standard dispatch hours.
Purchase or order required tools and equipment required for routine maintenance or requested repairs.
Fully prepare mechanic work orders/authorizations and follow approved procedures for documenting work performed, related tool purchases, customer work approval, and any other relevant information.
Escalate customer service issues that extend beyond authority or assistance to assigned Area Supervisor or customers assigned Service Sales personnel.
Display proper service appearance and deportment while on customer premises, and utilize ACCO property (e.g., service truck, cell phone, and/or laptop) appropriately.

A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred. Must be able to understand work directions and communicate effectively with job site supervisors and fellow employees. Three (3) to Five (5) years or more of Construction layout related experience is required for this position, with an emphasis on roads, highways, and bridges.
Physical Demands. The following physical demands are representative of those that must be met by a Survey Instrument Person to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Constant physical effort, including standing, is required during a regular work shift of at least eight hours per day. Employee must be able to stand for extended periods of time, and to stoop, bend, and crouch as required to perform Key Duties.
Ability to lift and carry, on a frequent basis, at least 50-90 pounds personally, and up to 150 pounds with assistance.
Maintain constant alertness to the multiple concurrent activities of the construction site, including the activities of other employees and contractors, the operation of stationary equipment, and the movement of mobile equipment.
Frequently walk on uneven surfaces, including natural ground in varying weather conditions.
Capable of being certified to enter confined spaces, including climbing into and out of excavations up to 15 feet in depth, using ladders or crawling, as required.
Ability to maintain balance while working on water craft or other surfaces.
The survey instrument crew member must be able to climb on and off heavy mobile equipment safely.

Work is performed outdoors in all weather conditions.
Work environment periodically exposes the employees to high levels of noise, grease, and dust that is typically associated with a construction project.
Employee regularly works near heavy equipment and moving machinery.
Employee regularly works in close proximity to high volumes of fast moving traffic.
Work may involve a variety of substances commonly found on construction sites such as form oil, grease, curing compounds, gasoline, diesel fuel and ready mixed concrete.

CNC Machine Quality Control Technician

AMI is seeking a Quality Control Technician with a desire to apply their knowledge, learn new skills and work as a team within a clean and safe environment. Successful candidates will be responsible for providing Quality Control Inspection support for AMI shop personnel while partnering with manufacturing teams and leaders to ensure that customer quality requirements are being maintained in all factors involved in production
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Program, operate, and maintain CMM inspection equipment
Layout production and prototype pieces
Prepare gages for production
Maintain ISO compliance
Provide training for production personnel as needed
Drive continuous quality improvements in both the incoming components and finished goods areas
Analyze data trends to determine quality trends and implement corrective actions
Use standard precision measuring instruments to inspect parts
Perform day to day quality tasks including first piece inspections, in-process inspections, and layer audits
Create, complete, and assist with continuous improvement of inspection forms and drawings
Proactively notify production personnel of out of conformance product in a positive and constructive manner
Collaborate in a fast paced team environment, working within and across different groups
Follow standard operating procedures and document approved manufacturing processes
Adhere to company safety policies to maintain a clean and safe work area
3-5 years of quality control experience in a machine shop environment
High attention to detail
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Solid comfort with computerized systems (MS Word, Excel, data collection)
Experience programming and operating CMM computerized inspection system, PCDIMS experience a plus
Experience using a variety of hand inspection tools (i.e. calipers, micrometer, drop gauge etc.)
Understanding of and ability to read blueprints
Demonstrated basic math skills
A practical understanding of statistical sampling and statistical process control
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, crouch, bend and reach above shoulders. The employee frequently is required to use hands to manipulate objects, tools or controls; and talk and hear.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be working in the typical conditions of a manufacturing environment including seasonal variation in temperatures. The employee must comply with PPE requirements including but not limited to safety glasses, hearing protection, appropriate gloves, clothing and shields for required tasks and steel toed safety shoes
