ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure packaging splits are reviewed at start of run.
Ensure sufficient amount of packaging material is available for completion of run.
Execute daily tasks assigned by Manager and Supervisor.
Operate machines properly and safely.
Assist employees in their daily task to ensure that packaging continues in a smooth fashion.
General upkeep of packaging area (trash, recycling, sweeping & mopping) and upkeep of warehouse if above stated priorities have been fulfilled. QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Previous experience in a manufacturing/production environment, preferable in the food/beverage industry and High School Degree. PREFERRED SKILLS
Must be able to lift 55lbs on a continuous basis and up to 75lbs on occasion
Good communication skills
Ability to follow instructions and take direction ADDITIONAL NOTES Working Conditions This position requires the ability to work in a fast paced environment on their feet for over six hours at a time, repeatedly lift 55lbs, and work in extreme temperatures for extended periods of time, in a loud production environment, with consistent forklift traffic, conveyor belts, and high speed packaging equipment.

STATEMENT OF JOB The assembler is required to clean a variety sizes of tanks that are packed empty, recording serial numbers off tanks and job numbers and turning in to Quality Control Office.
The assembler is also required to package small parts such as brackets (8L, 52L, and 343L), and also assembling 3” check valve bodies with small parts. Assisting the FM 200 Assembler III with packaging the 343L Macron inert tanks for shipping. Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude, understanding of decimals & fractions. Basic computer skills. Standing, repetitive motions will be required, such as bending.
Lifting of parts and assemblies/components up to 40 lbs. Work with various lubricants and adhesives. Requires hand and arm tugging/pulling with frequent lifting of light to average weights.
Must be able to assemble small parts by hand, requiring hand and finger dexterity. Must be able to retain a large volume of product knowledge and manufacturing variations. The following training is required for this job position.
Applicable Safety Training related to specific job tasks 100% minimum pass rate. ISO 9001 Quality Policy and all job specific procedures, work instructions, and use of applicable forms. 3–day Safety Training. Lock out/Tag out training (if applicable). Hoist training. DUTIES 1.
Inspecting product and recording results per First Article Instructions and /or Work Instructions. 2. Must be able to use tools, fixtures and machinery required in area. 3. Maintain required records (i.e. daily time cards, production counts & orders, scrap tickets, serial number logs and discrepancy reports). 4.
Inspects raw and WIP parts for defects and proper fit. Inspects inside of shells for defects, rust and debris. 5. Attends to proper storage of components in area (restocking parts, removing boxes, pallets etc.). 6.
Communicate raw material needs/shortages. 7. Clean and organize area at end of shift to proper 5-S standards. 8. Must be able to lift at weights not to exceed as outlined in the Safe Lifting policy. 9.
Record various types of information used in evaluating the process. 10. Operates overhead hoist for handling large tanks. 11. Perform other job tasks / duties as determined by management when requested.
