Provide engineering design support as required for engineering and production.
Develop new designs or revise existing designs as necessary to meet the needs of customers, improve efficiencies, and reduce waste.
Provide design support for the continuous improvement of existing manufacturing processes.
Create, maintain, and/or verify accuracy of engineering documentation and ERP data for all products.
Serve as a technical drafting and CAD mentor for Managers, Engineers, Designers, and other departments.
Provide project management oversight for new and existing engineering design control systems.
Maintain open and effective communications with management, related engineering departments, manufacturing departments, vendors, and customers.
Maintain a high level of professional knowledge of product development, manufacturing, engineering standards, and recent product or process innovations.
Design and develop test fixtures, gaging, and equipment
Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience
Experience with drafting and CAD standards
Experience using independent evaluation, people skills, and planning tools to coordinate projects focused on the delivery of efficient design and engineering change control systems, a plus
Experience managing and interfacing with large scale PDM and ERP systems, a plus
Experience with specific techniques required to perform analysis and designs common to the specific engineering discipline.

Harrison Steel is hiring a salaried Machine Shop Supervisor on first shift. The supervisor manages hourly employees in an assigned machining area, to ensure correct flow of product, and process completion, from a rough steel casting to a finished product.
