The Assembly Line Supervisor directs all Departmental and shift personnel to comply with all production requirements in an effective and safe manner, complying with the norms of quality and safety. They monitor the assembly of frozen meals using a conveyor operation, meeting all set standards of efficient, quantity, quality and regulatory requirements. The Assembly Line Supervisor is also responsible for startup and shutdown of lines on a daily basis. The individual in this role must oversee product quality and inform QC of any deviations from the established standard. The Assembly Line Supervisor position will be scheduled for 2nd shift and will offer some opportunities for overtime.
Assembly Line Supervisor Essential Functions:
Direct and supervise activities of operators, and all production personnel.
Schedule work assignments
Complete reports for production numbers, "down time", attendance, overtime, and quality checks and submit to Production Manager
Train, coach, and review performance of shift employees. Work with HR for employee discipline issues, termination, and recruitment
Obtain production order for their shift
Take necessary measures to complete each order
Insure the safety conditions in department (Machine guards, complying with LOTO, Prevent unsafe acts)
Verify that all employees have the necessary materials to do their job and have appropriate safety equipment
Ensure all product codes are correct
Makes sure to read production reports, including the operators and leads
Makes decisions with the quality department regarding products put on hold due to wrong specifications
Comply with the Production standards, efficiency, waste, overweight, pounds-per-man hour
Share all production information from current shift to the supervisor of the next shift
Makes sure that the product complies with the Total Quality standards
Run production reports
Enforce all company policies, procedures, and regulations
Attend all scheduled meetings

We are looking for a Machine Shop Manager with excellent organization and interpersonal skills. The ability to read and interpret engineering blue prints and associated drawing notes
Developing and leading the skills improvement of their reporting staff through training and development initiatives.
Attend status meetings with customers to ensure open communication and problem resolution.
Work with ME, M&P and Chemistry departments to support manufacturing process improvements and ensure successful delivery of hardware
Positive engagement will be required with all organizations that support manufacturing in order to sustain business operations
Coordinate and run single operation process offload to outside suppliers

Associates degree or equivalent with a minimum of 4 years machine shop manufacturing work experience.

Assembles and adjusts dye set by selecting proper tooling and tests to assure proper clearance;
Sets up according to work order and layouts to insure proper form configuration;
Uses precision measuring instruments and reads blueprints to check parts for conformance to specifications;
Operates machines to ensure proper functioning and releases to and instructs operators in procedures for producing parts in conformance with specifications;

The Tire division is known for maximizing safety through short braking distances and excellent grip as well as reducing fuel consumption by minimizing rolling resistance. Tires are the vehicle's only link with the road.

Machines a variety of parts, materials, and assemblies by following written procedures, documents, and established practices using manual and CNC machining equipment.
Places castings in machines and cycles per customer requirements.
Inspects and sorts castings for casting defects to established quality standards, paint defects and other subcontractor defects, as well as missing machining operations.
Transfers castings to next operations after audit approval.
Cleans work center at the end of each shift.
May perform basic equipment maintenance.
