Experienced with centrifugal compressors repair and overhaul, capable of performing alignments, experienced with bearing replacement and inspection on turbo machinery, read mechanical prints, dry gas and mechanical seal installation, follow procedure use policy for site, knowledge of utilizing precision tools, act as a journeyman or foreman, familiar with Microsoft package, great communication skills, work well with other team members.

- Safely and efficiently set up and operate all common machine tools including Bridgeport mills, engine lathes, keysetters, drill press, as well as large lathes, horizontal and vertical boring mills in a heavy industrial setting.

Set-up and operate a variety of CNC Machines for manufacturing metallic and nonmetallic precision parts, applying the knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, layout and machining procedures. This position also requires trouble shooting machining problems.

This position will primarily be responsible for supporting the machining operations of our heatpipe manufacturing line specifically focused on the end prep/groove machining operation for the heatpipe manufacturing flow.
Sets up and operates machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, shapers, planers, and precision grinders to make metal / composite parts, mechanisms, tools, or machines to exacting tolerances and dimensions.

Responsible for light fixturing, programming, setting up, and operating CNC, RTM, conventional and special purpose machines to produce parts within print tolerances and work instruction procedures.

Do You Have?
Machining in a Machine Shop Environment
Operate manual lathes, CNC lathes, manual mills, conversational end mills, drill presses, grinders, band saws, horizontal saws, wet saws, shears, and other typical tool room equipment
As a Plus, Do You Also Have?
Designing and/or manufacturing of mechanical fixtures, jigs, and assemblies
Perform preventative maintenance and facilities repairs on machine shop equipment
Can You Picture Yourself?
Acquiring necessary parts or materials, setting up machining equipment, performing machining operations to meet specifications, completing documentation, and inspecting completed parts to verify they meet specifications
Promoting and enforcing safety, in an effort to minimize safety hazards
Balancing pulleys and maintenance of the balancing equipment
Working together with Engineering and R&D to build prototype parts for new designs
