Providence is calling a MRI Technologist (0.0 FTE, Rotating/Variable) to Providence Newberg Medical Center in Newberg, OR. 12 hour shifts to cover, Day or Night, one shift is 6:30am - 7pm the other is 8:30pm to 9am. You would need to be available 7 days a week. Schedule is completed in 5 weeks.
In this position you will:
Perform Magnetic Resonance examinations according to physician's orders, utilizing sophisticated MRI equipment, taking into account individual patient's special or age-related needs.

Required qualifications for this position include:

Lead Magnetic Resonance Imaging Scientist

The successful candidate will be Imaging Team's Lead Magnetic Resonance (MR) Scientist for preclinical and translational small animal model research. This role will work in close collaboration with scientists from all therapeutic areas, technology teams, and other Imaging scientists to design, execute, supervise, interpret, and support small animal MRI/MRS experiments using internal resources and equipment, and as appropriate, in large animals in conjunction with CRO or collaborators. This role will be the key technical expert for Regeneron scientists in any experiment involving MRI, MRS, DWI/DTI, fMRI, or any related technologies. Current investigations include fibrodysplasia ossificans progressiva (FOP), neurodegeneration, atherosclerosis, pulmonary hypertension, heart failure, non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), and immuno-oncology, among many others. Collaborate with directors, research scientists and associates to review project portfolios, evaluate potential applications, and design appropriate MRI strategies or studies with appropriate quantitative endpoints
Serve as primary person responsible for experiment execution, including animal handling, MR operation, and data analysis, in conjunction with supervision of Imaging, Research, or CRO personnel as appropriate

TH Medical Radiographer 2 - Magnetic Resonance Imaging (Mri)
Read and interpret requests and instructions of physicians concerning MRI examination techniques. Determine body regions and projections which are to be undertaken, greets patients, explains procedures to patients and seeks to reassure anxious and distressed patients; guides and positions patients before and during examinations in order to obtain the required views.
Operate MRI equipment by setting controls and making required adjustments using guidelines and standard procedures as directed by physicians, in order to procure the required images. Receive general technical supervision from Senior MRI Technologist including orientation to the facility and equipment, advice on procedures and spot-checks of overall performance to determine effectiveness.
