Orbital ATK is currently seeking a Tape Wrapper to work in our Nozzle Fabrication team at our Promontory facilities.
Role description &
A Tape Wrapper performs hands on activities/tasks associated with manufacturing Nozzles and components. Tasks may include but are not limited to tooling assembly/disassembly, tape prep and bond/assembly and other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Participates as a team member to positively influence and enhance the safety, quality, cost and schedule performance of their team.
- Candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience.
Safe handling of hazardous materials.
Operating industrial equipment such as cranes, forklifts, precision measuring instruments and hand tools.
Previous experience working with phenolic materials
Makes operator controlled repairs as required.
Skills & Qualifications:
Must be willing to perform work on weekends and holidays as required
Must be willing to work overtime as required
Able to work a physically demanding day (stand for long periods; work from your knees; ascend and descend ladders; lift, bend, twist push and pull up to 50 lbs.)
Able to read, comprehend and follow established written instructions without deviation
Perform basic math and measurement functions
High School diploma or equivalent required
Post High School education / AA degree (Preferred)

As part of a major faculty hiring initiative, the Department of Chemistry at the University of Florida (http://www.chem.ufl.edu) seeks a full-time, nine-month, tenure-track appointment at the level of ASSISTANT PROFESSOR, in the general area of magnetic resonance, broadly defined, to begin August 16, 2018. The successful applicant will join over 40 Faculty in the Department, which is home to the Quantum Theory Project and the Butler Polymer Research Center.
The Department has recently opened the Joseph Hernandez Hall, a state-of-the-art teaching and research facility. Numerous opportunities exist for collaboration across the UF campus and the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory (NHMFL) and the Advanced Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Spectroscopy (AMRIS) Facility. The new faculty member will be expected to develop a successful research program that utilizes or develops magnetic resonance methodology, preferably with applications at high magnetic fields.
